The Wife - -can I ask - do you ever get crumbs in places you really shouldnt get crumbs!!! Or do you have industrial strength cossies to keep them out??:rotfl:

Ali! brilliant! Of course it can be a bit sticky but what's that saying, 'I suffer for my art' :D:D I do my best for Queen and country.:D

Anyone thinking about a tape gun? I popped over to the 3M site and you can buy a tape gun the ATG 700 for £9.44 (inc.vat) free postage. Oops, I forgot to look but I think it comes with a roll of tape. If Princess K with her sweet tiny hands can manage to work one well then, I'm sure I can. Thanks, craftygranny for the heads up on that one.

wifey I bought mine from there a few weeks ago, and ordered 2 rolls of tape and only 2 came so I'd order at least one spre roll just in case! I love it, was delivered quite quick too ;)

  • Oh my what a birthday - not much crafting done as yet, 3 friends turned up this morning out of the blue which was lovely. DD has been making endless coffees, bless her. The postman arrived with my pressies - I got a Letrajet (didn't even know I needed or wanted one, but am thrilled), a Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, a CB Diamond embossing plate and a corner punch. My stamps that I orderedfrom the US also arrived (in less than a week) and I can't wait to play now!

    Tired Mom
    - hope DD feels better - my two used to get croup - hopefully she will outgrow it. Have you tried a dream catcher and nightmare spray for your son? If the dreams are not connected to any other issues (e.g bullying, stress at home etc) then I have found that these help.

Popkins - hope that the pain eases up soon.

    Npsmama - congratulations

    TheWife -
aren't Oyster Stamps just the best? I bought in person from their showroom and they looked after DH so that I could shop (gave him a paper to read and a coffee). Then I ordered the Nesties at the weekend and got them yesterday. I also wanted something else that I'd seen in store but wasn't showing online and they helped out with that.

    Ali.b -
Thanks. I bought the BG Archiac the stamps the other week and used them to make an easel card at the weekend. I also ordered the BG mixed pack from the Craft Superstore, but only got 2 sheets of the acrhiac range in with it. I would quite like to get the Archiac Papers though as I loved using the stamps once I'd broken them in.

    Tomsmum
    - thanks for letting us know about the troll.

Thanks,Gemm, I'm off to see what the price of their spares are, I'm sure I read somewhere that Directa sell the cheapest replacement, they're a local firm, I'll check it out. I'm sure craftygranny recommended an ebay seller for the spare tapes, she's a canny lass so hopefully she'll read this and let us know.
