Wifey I get all my replacement tapes from ebay its a company called paladhesives, sorry I cant put the link cos it brings up all my details.
They are fantastic, it 12mm wide and £1.20 per roll £1.50 p&p you can order in multiples (I do 5s) and the p&p is 20p per extra roll. They are very quick to send out stuff. Look on ebay type in atg tape and it will come up as a buy now (reinforced atg transfer tape) its also strong enough for boxes I actually bought my gun from him too.

Yeah, like where it's pushed the paper up to emboss it, it's still the right colour in the middle but where its embossed it goes white.

Is there a certain thickness that it needs to be? Thank you!

Sorry saucy I'm not sure of the recommended thickness, you could create a cool distressed look with what you've got though by lightly sanding the embossed bits with an emery board

Thanks everyone re; the tape gun, I've just got the tape gun at £9.44 and three spare rolls for £2.15 and free post. If I manage NOT to tape my hands together I'll let you know how I get on. Do you think it might help keep the 'at on me 'ead on a windy day?

I had some card that did the same. Im not sure if its the thickness that effects it.. But if you can find any stardream card grab it.. That stuff embosses great. So does bazzil card stock HTH
