Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

My promarkers arrived this morning from Angel Crafts. Plus my very cute papers and paper flowers. The flowers were beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and tied in ribbon, I just thought it was abslutely gorgeous. My birthday tomorrow and it felt really nice unwrapping my shopping this morning - big thanks for making it so special!
I'm off to bed now as craft club tomorrow and I'm taking my kids with me so that'll be entertaining!

Okay I have finally caught up on the 25 pages of posts (apart from a couple of mins harvesting crops on FB)

I was just wondering if I ever get myself sorted with a crafting space will I be able to join the birthday swap card list (hope that makes sense cos it doesn't to me lol)

Spiced Marmalade, Brown Corderoy, Black Soot and Milled Lavender - the spiced marmalde is gorgeous with the black soot. If the colour you want isn't showing in stock, give them a quick ring, they often have odd ones in the showroom.

Have to say I'm seriously thinking of ordering a few more, but I've locked the spendy elves away! I'm sure they will manage to escape before long though!:D

I've had four parcels from eBay not turn up recently over the last three weeks or so. I'm not really sure what to do. I've phoned the sorting office who say they don't have them, all of them were from different sellers, so they aren't conning me. I have a refund from one, and a replacement from another. Two things I've purchased in the last week came the next day, so I just don't understand it!

I think I will give Royal Mail a ring tomorrow and put a complaint in, but their phone system is a complete nightmare!

Rusty Hope your mouth is much better now.. I know how you feel about feeling tired, I have been drained over the week end, I think it may be the change in weather, it has come as a shock rather than gradual, IYSWIM plus there are that many bugs going around its ridiculous.. for you, it may be the relief of off loading the wedding invites, subconsciously.? Many congrats on your income, that is brill...:D

Flourgirl As Marg says, Kirkby Lonsdale is lovely, it is one of my fave places in UK, I was there on Thursday... didn't spend too much either.. how impressed am I, showed a rare thing called restraint!!!

JHB I have used makeup sponges and they were suggested at a demo.. they don't seem too bad to me, but I may invest in a blending tool at a later date, it would be handy to compare both for myself really, in my mind, I feel like I may have more control with the sponges?? IYSWIM..

Just a quick update . Alicia's treatment is finished and she is now on the plane home. She should be home around lunchtime tomorrow. We won't get to see her until late as Carly goes for her implants tweaking again tomorrow. Everything happens at once here.
