Hope everyone who's been/going to Ally Pally had had/having a fabby time :)

Marg, thank you so so much for the list, look out for something from me from Mr Postie (will post on Monday) xxx

Mel, so glad your lil one seems a bit better. I think it's cruel that little ones struggle so much cutting teeth and then when they have them for a few years the blooming things fall out  It seems so unfair x

Rusty, hope you had a better night's sleep last night. Huge well done for being brave at the dentist xxx

I was convinced my horse was going to win the Grand National. I had my finger hovered over the buy button for a Big Shot. Mine didn't win or even finish but DS2's came 5th. Unfortunately he won a piddly amount so still no die cutter for me, roll on my birthday ;)

Morning all, carmim - you know you posted about the tilda pics on your photobucket - do you need a photobucket account to get copies of those??? Being a bit thick read the earlier posts on how to get them but didnt really understand!! (doh!)
rainmac - how do you tie your ribbon round the card so it doesnt twist???

This blog has just started a tutorial for colouring with pro markers - if it is useful to anyone xx

Hi Ali, I tend to use organza ribbon and tie it right around the front panel of the card using my hands/fingers to keep the ribbon as flat as possible when making the knot. I do it quite slowly so I can adjust the ribbon if necessary. Does that make sense???

Flourgirl, I think Creative Craft World is fab for Bazzill card. Free p&p and only 40p a sheet... http://www.creativecraftworld.com/epages/62035749.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62035749/Categories/%22Bazzill%20Basics%22

We're supposed to be going out for the day to a country park but DS1 is complaining of bad earache. May stay home and do stuff in the garden instead? We spent yesterday sorting out the garage, looks so much better and you can now see the floor!

Thanks rainmac - I have just been using some ribbon that I got from Craftwork Cards - but I think I have been trying to do it too fast, when I do the first part of the knot it is ok but when I do the second that is when it twists - will keep trying xx

Morning all, just trying to catch up but so many posts to catch up on!!

Can't remember if I said well done to Marg? or if I only just spotted she had won? :j so congrats!

Glittermum - Nice to see you back, glad to hear you had a lovely time

Angel crafts - I like to scrapbook aswell :j well if you can call it that! my pages are unique :rotfl: some of them I love and others I hate but only my recent pages are actually any good, before I just used to stick pictures in and that was it  but the last 5 or 6 pages I have done I actually mounted the pictures and tried to either make up my own sketch or follow one! .... they are nowhere near as good as some I have seen but they are all mine and if I like them then it doesn't matter. I have various pages on my blog but there are more cards on there, my cards are like scrap LOs they are all mine and nowhere near as good as others :rotfl: Glad to see you are sticking around ;) be sure to tell us of special offers sneakily (no advertising of course) ;) cause this is the most expensive thread on MSE!

Popkins - Hope you have a lovely day at AllyPally! :) I am sure you will manage with your trolley, although only if you don't overfill it!

Rainmac - Sorry to hear still no diecutter!! ... OH made me up some different nestie type files which I need to cut and check the size of, but I will hopefully get some time this week and will send you some diecuts to have a play with!

Well I am still in quite a lot of pain but managing 8 hours sleep on a night which has to be good! I still have quite a big lump in the roof of my mouth which is annoying and painful if I catch it when eating etc! OH says that should go down with these antibiotics, but I am on day 4 already! I have left OH in bed this morning so I can try and catch up on blogs and the kiddies have a makeshift bed on the floor which they are cuddled up together on the floor watching a film so it is quite quiet here  DS made it home safely from his dads yesterday :D and we went to a garden centre and had lunch, then to the park, then to the pub which has another park :j kids were worn out and in bed by 7:30 so OH and I sat and watched 2 films and had chinese!!

At the garden centre I found a piddly little docraft stockist bit it was so small it wasn't even worth a look, but OH found bargains! :j I spent £9 but came out with 20 sheets of 12x12 paper, a scallop edge punch, 5 packs of brads, 3 packs of eyelets (papermania ones were 50p a pack!) and some basic grey rub ons which were down from £3 per pack to 50p per pack!

Not sure what plans we have for today other than OH driving up north! Hope everyone has a good day!

    Morning all!

HAve a great day at Ally Pally Popkins - ake sure you regain that crown from Gemm!

Rusty - glad to hear you're at least getting some sleep - your evening sounds wonderful too.

Rainmac - I can't believe I'm thinking about a Big Shot at the mo (at least you don't already have a Bug!). I keep talking mysef out of it because I only really want it for the XL box dies, and I'm sure I wouldn't get my moneys worth!

Just signing up for a Xmas fair at one of the local secondary schools, and I'm doind the summer fair at DS1s school too - better get making! The secondary school one is £10 - but you now have to supply your own table!

Have a great day everyone - bit of food shopping and pottering for us - my boys are collecting ants to put in an ant farm at the moment. It's slow progress as they want to name them all!

Nearly forgot WBR - those dies definitely don't separate. I've managed to get a couple of frames but it's really fiddly getting them out. I need to try using greaseproof paper at the same time apparently.
