Sorry I'm so late in getting here but 6-7 pages to read

I met Whoopidoo and PNOR and that was great to be able to put faces to names. I must head on over to whoopidoo's blog as she is creating a Graffiti tutorial. Did you get home OK PNOR?

Ally Pally was brilliant, for me just on an hour to get there after picking up my friend. It's a show more geared towards stamping, scrapbooking and card making. Plenty of room to move about, Ally Pally itself is huge. Carftwork cards were there so I bought more stuff from them papers, die cut sentiment, butterflies and owls. Some of their large cutouts as well. I bought six stamps from Clarity Stamps and managed to watch a couple of demos by Barbera Grey. Went to the Glitter Girls stand and bought an interesting spray that created a kind of cobweb effect on paper, will show you that when I've played. I bought some lovely foiled card, some glitters in beautiful autumnal colours. I also bought a set of die cutters from Little Claires, a really large oblong similar to Nesties Label 8, three die cutters for £12.99

The only thing I was disappointed with was that there were no paper packs to buy. I saw one of the 12" Basic Grey Kioshi papers and a couple of Papermania ones but that was all. I didn't get any of TH Distress Inks I wanted as they were expesive to other places on the net with free posting. Ok if you were buying six at a time.

Rainmac sorry no sign of your Basic Grey you wanted, I couldn't find my Linen Closet or DCWV Naturals I wanted. except with an album that was mega money. There were no 6" x 6" papers to be seen and I found only one 8" x 8" and I didn't like it enough to buy it. Lots of super scrapbooking stuff and loads of flowers and ribbons and a couple of stalls selling the staples like tape etc.

I'll post a pic of my stash when I can but I'm trying hard to get my US card swap done by tomorrow.

Marg the list arrived safely, thank you for all the time you took to put that all together for us.

I was blog hopping the other day and came across a template that you use to decorate your cards with bling, It had swirls and scrolls etc. and you place your gems within the lines. Please has anyone seen anything like that?

    Thank you muchly.

Rainmac - I can't believe I'm thinking about a Big Shot at the mo (at least you don't already have a Bug!). I keep talking mysef out of it because I only really want it for the XL box dies, and I'm sure I wouldn't get my moneys worth!

Do you already have a Cuttlebug? The XL dies work in the Cuttlebug:

She uses four B plates but it would probably be cheaper to get the new extended Cuttlebug B plates than buying a Bigshot! x

The Wife - I have some paper templates for doing "bling" cards. You put the template over your card blank and then !!!!! through where the gems go. Remove the template and then stick your gems down where you leave an indent on the card. If you like i could scan them an email them to you. The original paper is like greasproof paper but I'm sure it work on any paper. Its not as if you really need to see through them. PM your addy if you fancy them. I think they came with a kit from Studio cards a couple of years ago...maybe..
