MArg - I have to say that, yes, the central heating was in use! Caravans have very thin walls! The boys had a great time, beaches, rock pools and castles - what more could they wish for! (Mum also enjoyed herself-sneaky crafting while the boys were in the club learning magic tricks!)
CraftyJuJu - your new bracelets are gorgeous - the little stars ones are especially lovely.

Gemm - I have a question for you (well 2 actually!) Whta were those paint thingies called that you bought quite late at the NEC? and have you used them yet?

I found a new mag(new to me) while we were away. It's called Craft Stamper and has loads of techniques. It's more geared to the distressing/artsy side of stamping and was really interesting. Think I might go for a subscription (it don't like this month's sign up gift so will wait!)

    Snipped you - sorry

I've been buying this mag for the last three months and love it. The free gift on the last two months mags have been fab - I got a free Art Journey Stamp and Pink Gems Stamp. I have to say I'm seriously thinking of doing a sub as well. The April edition would probably have had loads to appeal to you especially the reflections stamping tutorial (I think you have quite a few silhouette stamps that work really well with this technique). Believe it or not DH bought it for me on his way back from a trip, so if I do a sub it's his fault!!!

Did you get your Nellies from Mad About Cards? If so, did you manage to seperate them? I never had a reply from Nellie S.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, but it's not today, just had the party as it's the nearest Sat to our birthdays. I've been really good and stuck to my SW diet (well apart from a slice of cake) and put my cards and pressies away until my birthday:D

I've ordered the Nesties from Oyster Stamps and that's it now it! No more spending!

Off to Ally Pally a bit later woop woop! might be a bit of a struggle tho cos my shoulder and neck is really painful at the moment so dunno how I'm gonna get on lugging the Payperbox pick'n'mix paper back!! Trusty Trolley to the rescue!!

Have been checking back to see if those that went yesterday reported any super stash items they got or super bargains - will keep checking but leaving in about half an hour! wouldn't want to miss out on anything!

Oooh & well done Marg & thanks for the list - it came yesterday!! No excuse not to get organised now... Errr well I'll try! LOL!
  • Morning all.

Up since silly o'clock, done all my quiet chores so I didn't wake anyone. Made a card and am now bored!

Meant to say hope The Wife and PONR and anyone else that went had a good time yesterday.
