Well much to my stunned amusement my hubby has sat for the afternoon with some printed off digital photos and made 2 decoupage cards! He never made cards before so kept asking what to use and how do you stick things but blimey I couldn't believe the amount of concentration going into them. He going to scan them so I can put them on my gallery on the DoCrafts site. I've told him I expect one of them for my birthday card next week, but he looked all embarrssed!

That would be great! We are in Stonehouse, near Hamilton. Probable an hour and a half from Kinross. OMG I love horses, and would so love to have my own

Will do - my OH was wanting to bring the horses and the lamb home with him last week - there was a very loud NO! from me - told him he's not allowed anything else that poos :rotfl:

    She does do livery ;)

This weeks quote from OH - was showing him pile of cards to post saying - look there's lots of stuff going back out of the house - he just looked at me and said yes but it comes in by the truck load and out in a dribble :rotfl: :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice. I'm going to purchase my first promarkers from Angel Crafts (the bulk buy set of 10) and was wonder what are the best colours to get? Thanks, x

You might find this blog useful, if you scroll down there's a link to a pdf "colours to buy" which could help. I found info from quite a few places, googled and took advice from posts on here. I only bought my first ones last week but TBH I couldn't have only bought 10, I went for the 25!

This site should also help, keep going back to older posts and I'm sure there are some suggestions for colours that go together.

    Gemma85 - I've bought the wire from 2 sellers, one sells 40 coils for 99p http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/40-COILS-SILVER-PLATED-60MM-MEMORY-BRACELET-WIRE-M032_W0QQitemZ350284271712QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_JewelleryMaking_GL?hash=item518e91d060

but if your like me & are wanting to make lots I found this seller that sells 200 coils for £3.85

When we went to the NEC one of the things on my list was to see if I could buy it in bulk but ended up coming home & finding these on ebay! :rotfl:

I want to next buy some wire to make rings & wine charms...must stop thinking of new things to try & make my bank balance can not cope!! :rotfl:

thanks for the links, you sound like me, my head is spinning with all the stuff I want to 'get round' to making :rotfl: I made a bracelet and a necklace today, the wine bottle charms sound like a fab idea ;)

Just popping on a pic of a few cards I made last week at the crop. The turquoise one is for my daughers friend for whom she made some super gifts, her first memory wire bracelet for one.
Sorry I don't have or plan to have a blog yet!

    Evening ladies!

We're back from a lovely holiday in West Wales - just the washing mountain to sort out now.

I'm not going to attempt to go all the way back through the thread - so I'll throw out a general 'Well Done on your lovely makes' and 'Hugs' for anyone that needs them and 'Happy Birthday' for anyone who's had one!

    Thanks for the list Marg.

welcome back, glad you had a great time! isn't post-holiday washing just the worst thing ever :rotfl:

Carmim - may I also snag from your photobucket please?

Hogshead - I just love your cards! I think you may have said where the leaves came from but I've forgotten please can you say again?

Love the quote - that would apply here too!

Glittermum - welcome home! Glad you had a good time - Did you need the central heating?
