Hi every one, just got caught up with the last 4 pages since yesterday:eek: All the talk about lego reminded me to order our entrance tickets for legoland and chessington from Mr T courtesy of his clubcard points roll on May - I think I am more excited than the boys:rotfl:
When in May are you going to Legoland, we are going on Friday 7th courtesy of Mr T (need to order) and possibly 6th not decided yet, have a £19 travelodge at Windsor for the Thursday night but have to drive down on the Thursday from Cheshire. What is Chessington like and is it a long way from Windsor? I know what you mean about being excited, we are keeping it a surprise as the children adore it but youngest has no concept of time.

There are a couple of shows at Westpoint in Exeter, in January and September. There is also one in Taunton in May, much smaller, but we still manage to spend loads and have a good day.0 -
Congratulations on your yummy cake card, Tired Mom! I'm ready for my dive! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

lei_armstrong - many thanks for the link. I am home on the 1 April so not sure if I will be able to go so soon to London but it looks good and cheap to go in also!! Might see if my niece would like to come with me and get the coach up if we can get a cheap fare!
Melissa - congrats on your win.
Rusty - love the 'new' garden - makes a real difference to the look of a house when the garden is tidy!!!
Flourgirl - hope it went ok today. A very sad thing to have to attend for you.
Gemm85 - hope you feel 100% soon.
sunrise27 - have become a fan on Facebook and will take part as soon as I return to the UK and get some things made!! Good idea though.
Tired-Mom - well done on your cake card challenge win.
Sunshine01 - thanks for the info re craft shows. I'm surprised there aren't any shows closer to Bristol. I don't drive so I am abit tied!!! The Ally Pally one looks good though. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Congratulations on your win for the cake card - it is so exciting to win!
I can answer the query about how far Legoland is from Chessington. Chessington is our local theme park, and also go to legoland quite a bit because we have merlin annual passes.
Chessington is about an hours drive from Legoland athough it isn't very far in miles, but a lot of the roads between the 2 are B roads so very slow until you hit the M25 for a couple of junctions and then the A3. Legoland is for little kids, and Chessington is great for the animals, sealife centre, and some of the bigger rides, like vampire, minetrain, rattlesnake; black buckineer and dragon falls. They have just opened a new ride at Chessington this year called the Cobra which makes me sick just looking at! If you want any more info give me a shout and happy to help. Let me have your address if you want me to send you a guidemap to Chessington, and I'll pop one in the post as we are up there all the time.
Hope this helps.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Marg - so glad you enjoyed Chris Rea. I knew the name rung a bell and my OH and I saw him in concert 17 years ago at Wembly for our first month's anniversary. The concert was fab, and I was surprised at how many of his songs I knew as I was only 21 at the time and was not into music of any kind, but it was a free night out :rotfl:2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000
