Sorry I've been hiding away. I'm commenting on blogs and reading on here but for some reason not managing to join in the chat ATM.

    MadFrog Have a great holiday.

TiredMom Have a nice weekend at the caravan.

Soma and PepPop Sorry to hear about your OHs. This happened to my OH many years ago and being in his late 40s at the time no-one wanted to employ anyone of that age. I think it's a bit different now. Life has a funny way of turning out for the best despite setbacks so I'm sure something is waiting around the corner.

Craftygranny Sending good wishes for your sons and hugs to you.

    KMS Hugs to you too.

Fifi Not sure if I'll make your challenge, I'll do my best if I get any more 'me' time.

I'm still not getting much chance to do any cards, maybe that's what's wrong with me :rotfl: .

Well done to all the recent winners and for all the lovely makes on blogs. I'm keeping up as much as I can, it depends on whether Blogger is telling me about the updates, today I went to comment on a card and then saw another one on that blog from five days ago which I never had an update for!

Hugs to all whether you need them or not! Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Soma Sorry to hear about your OH too. Bit of a nightmare isn't it. Sending you hugs

Thanks everyone for all your kind thoughts. He's been applying for jobs all day today and he seems to be hopeful about a couple so we'll just need to keep our fingers crossed something comes up soon.

Glittermum I hope everything settles down for your DS, maybe as you say it's to do with his lunches and once that's sorted he'll settle in. Sending you hugs

    Thrifty

KMS That's great news about your blood tests :T

Craftygranny Huge hugs to you and Adam, I can see why he would be stressed!!

    MadFrog Have a great time

I'm gonna have a crafting night tonight with a bottle of wine so dread to think what I'll make but it'll be fun. I suppose that's one positive of having a house husband is that I don't need to spend my nights doing housework :)

Tired Mom – we didn’t get to go to Maws Craft Centre. We spent most of the day at Bliss Hills Victorian Town, then the kids wanted to go to Enginuity (bit like the science museum only alot smaller), and then we walked around the Museum of Iron. Didn’t want to push my luck for the Craft Centre, which is why we will definitely be going back!

PepPop & Soma – sorry to hear about your OH jobs. Hope something comes along very soon for them.

Glittermum – hope your son has a better week next week. I can take a while to settle and we had tears off my youngest today about school (couldn’t get out of him what he is worrying about), but this afternoon he has come out of school really happy, because he won a £5 book voucher for part of the homework he had to do over the holidays. He is well chuffed. He had to read in an unusual place and have his photo taken. I’ll blog what we did later, but he won the top prize out of the 300+ kids in the school.

KMS26 – glad to hear the blood test results were OK for you.

Craftygranny – sending good wishes for the tests your son is undergoing xx

Scatty – sounds like you are having fun packing. It won’t be long before you have to unpack it all in your new home.

Mad-Frog – have a great holiday. Safe travels.

:wave:Hi Thrifty – hope you are keeping well. How’s your son getting on at college? Nice to see you posting xx

Enjoy your weekends away TiredMom and Marg.

Hope you managed to get some 'me' time soon TomsMom. Hows poppy doing?

Will blog hop later when we get back from Beavers x

  • PepPop Sorry to hear about your OH's job, hope he finds another one soon. Enjoy your wine & crafting tonight.
Soma Hope your OH finds a new job soon too
Glittermum Hope things settle down for your DS soon
Rainmac Thanks for your entry into the challenge, it's lovely so I'll let you off for putting the pink buttons on! lol
Marg Hope you enjoy Harrogate & get lots of goodies. I think I'm going to wear a thick jumper to protect me from all those elbows, some of them were quite viscious in March! At least I am tall so I can see over the top of everyone.
Madfrog Hope you have a fab holiday
Tired Mom Hope you enjoy the caravan

Hugs to everyone. I'm off to look at bl*gs now & hopefully get some cards added to mine. x
  • Thanks everyone, catch up when I get back

Is anyone a member of the Time for Crafting website, and paid for a years membership (£20). Is it worth it? Just come across a couple of tutorials and they look good, but in order to get others you need to pay.:(

Was facinated by a Jacobs Wallet, but you need to be a member to get the tutorial.

    Thanks
