And thank you to the person who linked the tutorials for promarkers, there are so many on google! I cant seem to find one that makes sense for colouring (or not colouring ) Snowmen!!!! Do you just leave them white or............... What do you all do?

I coloured mine in ivory and it looked okay.

Do you have to have a blog for challenges? I've never entered anything - and to be honest think it's a waste of time for me to, as I'm not good enough yet - but in the future if I do want to give it a go, is it possible just to post it on here?

I'm annoyed I missed the green and red challenge though! I'd just literally posted a sorry you're leaving green and red card that came out quite well, when I saw the challenge!

I have been doing them Ivory, i just feel they look a bit 'dirty'

Some challenges you don't need a blog you can email them, but i'm not sure which ones :o

Don't be so down on yourself about your cards, the person who makes them is always the worst critic i think! Why don't you set up a blog? i for one would love to see your creations :) Also if you could set a blog you could get comments on them

Yes, I do agree about the dirty! I am surprised they don't do a white one. I'm sure people would buy it.

    Thanks for that info!

Yeah, I should - I just very rarely craft, so it wouldn't be updated often! But I think it's more interactive and I'd get to know people better!

Are the backgrounds easy to do on the blogs? I do have a non-craft blog on livejournal, which can be a bit complicated to change things around on. But I think I'd rather set a craft blog up where everyone else has one so I can find people easier!

I was thinking of making up a homemade hamper for a few of people for Christmas. So far I'd thought of making some bath salts, and something like the snowman drink thing.

I'm really not that crafty, despite being here - so don't want anything too complicated or expensive. It's for three people, so don't want to buy loads more than I have to.

    Any ideas please?

PONR- I have a texture embosser and it is very easy to use, the cheapest i have seen them over her is £19.99 online. I think it is great! If you look on my you know what and look at the silver xmas card with the snowflake background that was done on there

Thanks for the info - that is very cheap - is it the Sizzix Boutique that you have? The cheapest I'd seen it with the starting kit is about £34, so I've been basing my searching on that. Where did you see it for £19.99 please?? Will have a look at your card in a moment!!!!

Yep the Sizzix one! I got it for my birthday and it was £34.99, i can't remember where it was for £19.99, i will have a look and see if i can find it for you.

    Hobbycraft have it for £24.99

Do you have a Bigshot? As my understanding of it is that you wouldn't need both as the Bigshot already embosses ( i could be wrong though as i don't have a bigshot)

Jazabelle - The backgrounds are quite easy to change if you look on some of the blogs, (mine for example is from cutest blog on the block i think) If tou click that it takes you to their website where you can find one and then just link it to your blog. HTH
