Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

Thankyou all for your replies regarding re-sizing images. I normally use Picassa but find it very limiting, itsd either 4 or 9 to a page when really I could do with 6!! and I'm not very techie so need something easy to use. I will try word and see how I get on. I have tried Paint but like you say it really is guess work. I will go and have a play.

Marg - Big hugs to you, I am sure Sam is now in cat heaven chasing supersized mice.

Flourgirl - I use My Craft Studio to rezise my digis, I find the grid really useful for getting an accurate size.

I attempted my first K card last night. It was so rubbish it is now in the recycling bin, won't be trying one of them again in a hurry! Why is it the most simple cards I make look the best and the complicated ones look a mess? :huh:

I was really happy when I discovered that I had won Artydolls Red & Green challenge & was really excited to set my own challenge.

I've had a think & have decided on the theme for the challenge & it is:

Black & White (Monochrome)

There are two reasons I have chosen this theme:
(1) I am a Geordie - black & white are Newcastle United's colours
(2) I always think black & white cards look so elegant & classy

The challenge will close in two weeks time at midnight on Tuesday 14th September I will announce the winner on the Wednesday lunchtime (won't be able to do it earlier than that as I will be at work). I will sort out some of my stash to send to the winner as a little prize.

Hope everyone likes the challenge & joins in. x
