marg - ooh are you going to the craft fair at Harrogate - think I am going on Saturday - but last minute problem with babysitters - aaargh!!!!

I'm jealous Gemma - other than the cat on your lap :rotfl:Mine squashes up so close beside me with 3 sweaty paws on my leg (yes cats do sweat through their feet :o )

Not sure if I'm going to Harrogate or not will probably go on the Saturday if I do then my feet can recover on Sunday :)

    Hello everyone

I'm finally back in the land of the internet but gosh the children and I do feel like caged animals and Tesco's has just frightened me to death with the size of it. Got back late last night and am still trying to sort stuff out. DS is distraught that he can't be outside all day cycling around with his friends and playing and poor thing his nerves have raised their ugly head again with regards to starting Juniors, we just need Thursday over and done with and he will be fine. I'm out all day tomorrow on a last day of holiday picnic with a big crowd and still have homework to get completed by son, uniform to organise and label, pencil case and contents to label etc so don't think I'm going to get any catching up or crafting done. We are going to my brothers for the weekend as well in Skipton so need to sort myself out, I'm very tempted to have a look at The Stamp Man when there as it is only down the road but don't think it is open on a Sunday. Hope veryone is well and hello to all the newbies, is there a challenge on here at the mo please and when does it end? Think Marg needs hugs but not had chance to find out why yet but you can have bucket fulls regardless. X
  • lizalloareds - did you find any Hello Kitty papers? I don't know if it was you or someone else looking for Hello Kitty ribbon, well I found some Hello Kitty flat laces in H&M childrens section that looked like ribbon.

Can anybody point me in the direction please for the best price for a cuttlebug, I do really like the look of the bigshot but just haven't got the space so I think that is going to be the deciding factore.

Just back from a great few days away. Warwick Castle and Ironbridge were fab, and my OH and the boys really liked them. My OH and I were brave and did the dungeon tour at Warwick, but have to say since doing the ghost hunt at Alton Towers, I laughed my way around it and did not find it scary at all. Having said that some people did, and came out half way through crying and screaming. The boys loved Alton Towers, and had the most fun on battle gallons, getting absolutely soaking wet. The weather was great for the whole 5 days. Managed to squeeze in visiting some home bargains (we don't have them down south :(, whilst we were away and got a few crafty bits - mainly gold/silver card packs and envelopes.

Skimmed through the last 5 papges and made a few notes, but sorry if I miss anyone out it isn’t intentional.

Congratulations to the recent winners of challenges. Wecome back Choccy, TiredMom and Glittermum.

PepPop – the teddy ribbon came from my little old ladies old shop down the road from me. If you would like me to get you some just PM me. From memory they do it in blue, pink and white/cream and you buy it by the metre it from memory it is about 32p a meter. It is no problem if you want me to pick so up for you as I am always popping in there.

Gemm – really pleased for you that you have now finished work and have got some fab things planned for this week. Enjoy being stress free for a while. Glad you had a nice ‘first’ day today as a lady of leisure.

Flourgirl – hope your foot is better.

Rainmac – sorry to hear about you OHs car accident. Hope he is feeling better today.

PONR – glad to hear that you have arrived safely in the States – looking forward to hear about all your bargains. Hope you don’t suffer from jet lag for too long.

Marg – I am so sorry to hear about your cat. It is awful when you have to go through the decision you had to make (we have been there), but you know that it was the best decision for Sam – sending you lots of hugs.

CGCockcroft – have a great week in London. Enjoy.

Thanks for the Black & White Challenge Fifi Folle – i’ll see if I can think of anything to make to fit it.

Not sure how much crafting I will get done this week. My youngest goes back to school on Thursday, and still need to buy loads of bits for him. My oldest goes back on Monday, but I have got to sew names into a whole new uniform form him and that will take the best part of a day :(.

Will catch up on blogs later in the week.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
