pointofnoreturn wrote: »I got a replacement pen today from Iconuk with no word of apology and no refund of my return postage. I sent them an email complaining about the amount of time and effort on my part to return a faulty pen and I've just had a phonecall from them. The guy was very rude and abrupt and seemed to think it was up to me to ring and tell him the cost of my postage - like they don't know how much a pen costs to post first class. I told him that we have put a lot of business their way from this thread but he basically didn't care if I/we never ordered again as he said they have card groups up North ordering 100's of pens each month. Their customer service is terrible and this man really needs to go on a course to learn how to speak to a customer and give good customer service.
I've just had a 96p refund on paypal from them with a message that reads 'Refund for postage £0.96 your account with IconUk is now closed'.
If anyone bothers to use this company please bear in mind how they treat customers if there is a problem.
OMG how terrible! I've used them a few times recently as they are one of the best places to get promarker singles and not had any problems with them. Just goes to show that you can only get a true picture of a company by how they respond to complaints...
cant beleive they had the cheek to say your account is closed though!! cheeky g*ts!!0 -
Kms - I think you just sprinkle flocking powder on (like glitter). The flocking is that it is velvety to touch. You can buy double sided stickers like flourishes etc. They are usually pink coloured but Laura Ashley ones are white. You peel off the front or something, apply to project, then peel off the back and sprinkle with the flocking powder. I have some here but haven't got flocking powder as yet.
Peppop and Soulie - Thankyou for offering to make a blinky thing. I would display it proudly if I won! LOL
PONR - thankyou for pointing out IKON's terrible service. I for one won't use them again. I was shocked when my package arrived to tell the truth. There were 9 or 10 pens stuffed in the tiniest envelope you ever saw. It was a wonder they didn't burst out.
Happy Birthday Dawn TeaBag. Is there a list somewhere with birthdays on? I feel a bit guilty now. Everyone wished me a Happy birthday on my first time on this thread last month. I'd like to send cards too.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Oooh make sure you show us the monkeys - I love making them but have not made any for a while now!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
I'm very proud of being part of this thread and would be delighted to have a blinkie/badge on my blog so that everyone would know what a lovely place it is.
Rainmac & flourgirl - even though we've no kids buying shoes or uniform is definitely a perk of being a grandparent - my grandad did it & my mum & dad & DH's did it for our nephews & nieces. Being auntie & uncle we tended just to do 'fun' stuff.
PONR - that's a disgusting way to treat & speak to customers. I for another wont go there.
Elysia - yes there is! If you pm me your details I'll add you & let you have a copy. I'm planning a revision any time now just need to find a space to do it.
kms - well done on your sales! thanks for the freebie link.
artydoll - glad you feel a bit better & I agree with rainmac & flourgirl the kudos of winning is thrill enough any 'prize' is a token so a nice card would be fine.
wam - long time no see - thanks for the freebie link.0
