    Hi all,
feeling a tiny bit better today, thanks for all your good wishes.:A

    Happy Birthday to Dawn teabag.:T:T

I know I,m suppossed to set the next challenge on the thread, I would love to do this ,but I,m unsure of the rules,I,ve only been making cards proper for about 6 weeks,so I dont really have much stash,to give as a gift,I,m still trying to build it up,lol.:D
Is it ok to give, other stuff?,maybe toiletries or something like that?
Could someone please tell me if this will be ok ,before I set the challenge?
Also, how long would the challenge last, end of the month be ok?
    xx Hugs to all

    Dawnteabag Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
  • I got a replacement pen today from Iconuk with no word of apology and no refund of my return postage. I sent them an email complaining about the amount of time and effort on my part to return a faulty pen and I've just had a phonecall from them. The guy was very rude and abrupt and seemed to think it was up to me to ring and tell him the cost of my postage - like they don't know how much a pen costs to post first class. I told him that we have put a lot of business their way from this thread but he basically didn't care if I/we never ordered again as he said they have card groups up North ordering 100's of pens each month. Their customer service is terrible and this man really needs to go on a course to learn how to speak to a customer and give good customer service.

I've just had a 96p refund on paypal from them with a message that reads 'Refund for postage £0.96 your account with IconUk is now closed'.

If anyone bothers to use this company please bear in mind how they treat customers if there is a problem.

Artydoll, you don't have to give a prize at all but if you wanted to it could be anything at all. The challenges usually last 2 weeks. Does that help?

That's horrendous service PONR, how awful is that!!! Are you going to take it further? I feel like phoning them and giving them a piece of my mind

Happy Birthday Dawnteabag, hope you're having a lovely time in Wales :D

Well I've just spent a mini fortune ordering Jack's logoed uniform , off to town tomorrow to get the rest and do a big supermarket shop to stock up. My m&d have asked if they can buy his school shoes :D so we're going to do that later on.

Just a thought but what if we set up a blinkie for our blogs saying something like "MSE Challenge Winner - Water (or the name of the challenge and the date)". I could do the image but not sure how to get it as a blinkie but I could look into it or if someone else knows how to do that bit...? Would that help?

I'm not going to bother ordering again from them and will not be recommending them either!!! He kept saying I sent you the new pen out before I received the old one back - as if I should be grateful!!! If he'd just put a slip in with the replacement pen saying 'apologies hope this one is ok and can you let me know your postage costs' but the pen came with nothing and it was his attitude on the phone. He seemed to think that if it was £40 postage I was moaning about then he could understand but I don't think the amount should matter. A customer is a customer regardless of how much they spend.

Nice of your mum and dad to offer to buy Jack's shoes - it all helps doesn't it. I don't have kids so have never had to buy uniforms!

You could store the badge in photobucket and then post the code on CP on the challenge bit for whoever wins to take the badge code for their blog.

Yeah - never thought of that. Being dumb. I could do it that way or save it as a jpeg and email it to the winner. Don't know if you guys would be interested (shruggy shoulder thingy) but if you are I could certainly do it.

That sounds fab, I am a techie idiot so have no idea how to help, sorry ;)

Does anyone know if the Range is selling the new MME paper stacks - Complete Boy and Complete Girl? They sold the Penny Lane stack loads cheaper than everyone else so I wondered if they had these cheaper too?
