  • Morning all.

    Congratulations Madfrog & Jowri

Glittermum - glad you had a good time, hope your son is Ok now. He was obviously having a great time otherwise he'd have complained about things a lot more.

Tomsmum - have fun with Molly today

    Ali-b
    - glad your prize arrived, I hope you enjoy playing with it

Dragonlew - thank you the postie has just been, will PM you in a bit

    lrlrip
    - get Memento ink (I think Joanne Sheen is the cheapest atm), an acrylic block, Promarkers a good starter kit is skin tones and this set . Double sided tape, Anita's tacky glue, scissors and that's about it on the essentials lists for what you want to do. If you visit your local lbrary, they should have some good books on stamping and techniques - I'll dig out one of the books I got that was really helpful and post the title of it.
  • Morning.

Congrats to the winners and to Mad-Frog on the birth of her nephew and jowri on the birth of her niece!!!!

Raining here today although it does seem to be brightening up!!!

I went out for a lovely lunch with my auntie yesterday to Portishead which is on the coast. Although it was drizzling we had a nice meal in a pub which had a closed in balcony with a glass frontage all around which had spectacular views of the Bristol Channel over to Wales.

Finished off my side stepper card yesterday before I went out and it's in the usual place if you want to see it!!!! Have a few more to make today as well!

I'm after a few single promarkers, can anyone tell me the best place at the moment. Is it Joanna Sheen??

I think Icon are cheapest at £1.59.....

Lovely sidestepper on your blog. I have commented.

    Morning all,

Sorry I am having a bad time at the minute so struggling to keep up!

I have sold one pack of my extra house mouse stamps so there will be just one pack that is to go up on craftyplace later on today. OH has ordered me some RU storage units from storage for crafts, they could take upto 3 weeks to arrive though but looking forward to having them, he has also been buying me bits and bobs on ebay! punches and stuff like that.

My Step dads, father passed away late in the very early hours of monday morning :( I am just glad he is no longer suffering, seemed like a lovely bloke from what I heard about him, need to make a card for my mum and S/Dad!

Irlip - Is it you who is looking for a reasonable place to buy supplies? If you are near to Aberdeen I fully recommend The Paperterie in Dyce, I have been there 3 times and regularly send OH in his lunchbreak from work to go and pick me up boxes of card or other things I need ;) the prices are reasonable and they do classes aswell. For things like their boxes of card, it is much better quality than papermill and a lot more choice!

Can't remember what else I have read now, I am poorly and struggling to do pretty much anything! then to top it all off I am still waiting for the painters to arrive ... so help them if my sons room isn't finished for saturday when he comes home :D (they were supposed to be here monday, which changed to tuesday ... and changed to today but still not here!)

Congratulations to all of the winners! :j

  • Rusty - sorry to hear your sad news, but like you say at least he is no longer suffering. I hope your painters turn up and that you feel a better too. x

Artydoll - meant to say hope you're feeling a bit better today.

My two have only just got up and both want a lazy day - suits me, means I might get to craft!
  • Thanks WBR - will check them out, I thought they were only cheaper for the packs of pens so I will go and check now!!!!

Rusty - sorry to hear your news but as you said at least he is no longer suffering. Hope you feel better in yourself soon also x

NualaBuala - hi and welcome to the thread!!

Mary - I ordered my mini books from this site, there's free delivery if you spend over £20 - be warned though - delivery took over a week. I ordered from them because they were really cheap- the albums are on this page plus they had the parenthesis mini book in stock and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I love this whole range of mini books - cutting edge crafts sells the others in the range - there's free postage there too. I think what I'm going to do is just use two of the chipboard blanks for the front and back page and then use the blank as a template and make the inner pages from card - that way I can get 3 mini books from one - does that make sense????

Dragonllew - fab challenge card - I love the embossed silver card - it looks really effective! Thanks for letting me know that I'd won - I can't even remember entering that one!!!!

Bunbun - hope you have a fab holiday!!!

    Jazabelle - welcome back!

Skysky69 - hi and welcome!!! I would love to sell some of my cards - I spend enough on crafting - it would be nice to recoup some back! Mind you I could try harder to sell them - your post office sounds like an idea outlet!!!

Hassy - hope you have a great time and great weather in France!

    Mad-frog - congrats!!!

Jowri - congrats to your too!!!!

Soulie - gorgeous card and bracelet!! Your jar of flowers is fab too - I'm afraid I'd have to have a few jars to fit all of mine in!!!

TomsMom - good luck with the puppy watching!!!

Rusty - sorry to hear about your Stapdad's father - I hope you feel better soon.
