Hi, posted a few weeks ago about wanting to make my own Christmas cards this year. What kind of Christmas crad I was asked!!! I have no idea:o
:eek:I did not realise how BIG card making is. I am totally lost. I have spent ages looking through posts, websites etc. and it has just made it worse:o
Can anyone recommend a magazine that I could buy to give me start?
Thanks0 -

Hi
how about purchasing a 'let's make cards' magazine which has lots of ideas and most of the materials with it. Try and make every single design in there 'cos it costs about £8 last time I looked but will give you experience in cardmaking.
even better you could book a workshop at a local craft shop - usually about £10 - to get a good headstart and meet some crafty people.
hope this helps0 -

Just finished strimming the weed jungle in the back garden - fed up waiting for hubby to do it - am pooped now - oh boy, he owes me big time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Got two decorating projects on the go - dd's bedroom and the front porch. That's the thing about being home all day - the state of the house gets right up my nose :rotfl:. Back in my past life (did I ever work full-time, was that me????) I was never in the house or when I was, I was too tired to care - don't know which life is the better one....
Need another cuppa, then must make tea.

Right I'm going to try again....my post earlier has been removed  all I was doing was trying to help Kit1 & help her with tiles!!
Anyways.....(here we go again)....craftygranny wrote: »JuJu carly loves her bracelet she wouldn't take it off at bedtime .We had to let her wear it to bed then sneak in and take it when she was asleep. She was devastated this morning when she woke up and it was gone . It's been worn again all day today and she's shown it to everyone and proclaimed it's carly carly's . Poor grandad went out and bought her a jewellery box then she'd take it off but it's right by her bed and she's thrilled cos she can put it on and off herself. So thank you very much .
