Gemma - your holiday sounds great. Its always good to have something to look forward to. Definately make sure you visit the Grand Canyon when you are there. Its a fantastic experience.

Rusty - I like the light blue one and the green one (always have to be different!)

Hassy - I cant believe you have had rain. Its been really hot here. I think rain is forecast tomorrow.

I think rain is forecast for friday too, but I hope they have that wrong as we are taking DD and her friends to Wickstead for her birthday treat. There will be my sister and I and 8 kids, luckily 2 are a bit older though. Thank you Mr Tesco! It makes birthday treats so much cheaper!

Gemm - sounds like a fantastic holiday, no wonder you are excited. Are you doing a fly drive? My OH and I went about 13 years ago, and flew into LA picked up a higher car and drove straight to Vagas. Trouble was we had planned 2 nights in Vegas before making our way to San Fransico and then back to LA to catch the flight home. Trouble was we missed the first 24 hours in Vegas because we were jet lagged. Managed to do the flight around the Grand Canyon though and down into the Canyon, it was spectacular. What we saw in Vegas was amazing and would definitely like to go back at some point. We stayed in the Excalibur Hotel, which was really cool.

yes we are flying to LA, driving straight to Vegas, spending 5 nights there before driving back to LA then staying there for 2 nights before flying home! we are staying at New York New York in Vegas and a Hilton in LA.

saving up my shopping money already, going to see how long my stash diet lasts! will be a bit silly to buy craft stuff at UK prices when I can have my fill at US prices soon ;) I will be getting some Fimo to make my own beads! lol

Rusty - 1) Red 2) Green 3) Purple - .......that concludes the voting for the West Coast jury.:) They are all brill but those are my favourites in order.

Hassy - DH had to visit Leyland earlier today I think he brought the torrential rain back with him. Think it's rained every day since the hosepipe ban started!

Tomsmum - 'IF' we had sunshine or warmth I'd share it with you but sadly looks like we're sharing the rain instead.

Wanna B - I wish I could say yes they were mine but they aren't! I really wasn't being falsely modest, my easel card was just about OK but I'm ashamed of the other and if I hadn't felt obliged to do something quite quickly it would have gone in the bin.

Gemma - Great news about your holiday I've only done Florida once but liked it. Ditto Ironbridge.

    Welcome Grapey

    Welcome back Lyndach!
