The rain here has been relentless today, my water butts are overflowing as are the gutters.. I drove to a friends and the roads were like rivers and the fire brigade were out pumping water away from roads and houses!! Stopped outside my friends and it was like a stream, paddled thru it and I should have worn wellies.. water up to my ankles!!!
And they DARE say there is a hose pipe ban!!!

Anyway, Rusty I like your cards in the order you put them on your blog...?? They are all lovely, I find it amazing that one image can look so different depending on the colours used.. :)

Lyndach welcome back.. wondered where you had got to.. ? :)

:hello: just saying hi! I am quite excited as we have booked a holiday :j and I need to let out some of my excitement lol :rotfl: going to Vegas and LA later this year, so excited I can hardly sleep! it definitely puts all the horribleness at work in perspective having something lovely to look forward to!

I am looking forward to Friday as well, as we are going to Ironbridge to visit the Victorian town working museum! I love historical things so can't wait for that either. I feel like i've got ants in my pants this week LD

Gemma - Your holiday sounds super and having something to look forward to is always a good thing. We need to visit Ironbridge at somepoint as it is not too far from where we have the caravan. I went as a child and really enjoyed it so would love to take my children. Where about is your craft fair going to be?

Rusty - I like Red, Dark Blue, Green.

Right need to go and get dinner and then to get DS from his friends house and it is still persisting it down here.

just popping on to say I have finished all 6 cards using the dragon freebie ... Can I have some opinions on which you prefer please? they are on my blog ... my favourites in order are Red, Green & light blue, the other 3 all look too samey!

Rusty, I really like the red, green and dark blue ones - they are fab, and it is amazing how different a card can be with the same image but in different colours.

Gemm - sounds like a fantastic holiday, no wonder you are excited. Are you doing a fly drive? My OH and I went about 13 years ago, and flew into LA picked up a higher car and drove straight to Vagas. Trouble was we had planned 2 nights in Vegas before making our way to San Fransico and then back to LA to catch the flight home. Trouble was we missed the first 24 hours in Vegas because we were jet lagged. Managed to do the flight around the Grand Canyon though and down into the Canyon, it was spectacular. What we saw in Vegas was amazing and would definitely like to go back at some point. We stayed in the Excalibur Hotel, which was really cool.

    Hi Hassy,

Well remembered! Yes we are going up to do the Tower of Terrors ghost hunt on 13th Aug. To be honest I am starting to panic about doing it. Its a Friday the 13th so that spooks me to start, I'd be scared stiff if we saw any thing, and I don't particularly like the dark - not much hope for me really is there :o. OH will be there to protect me though, and I got some brownie points for booking it for him, as he is so difficult to buy presents for. Still it will be a good weekend away without children :D.
