    Good afternoon girls.. :)

Create and craft have a lovely pick of the week, a cd with background papers and 2 sets of stamps making 54 in total for £40 bar a penny and you can get it on flexi basket.. The stamps are SWALK, really sweet characters.. Phew, I am so glad I am staying stash free... ;)

Flourgirl I hope you enjoy the show over the weekend.. I will be with you in spirit... :) Two of my friends are going too, I was supposed to go with them, but unable cos still not well enough, plus it would be too cruel for me to go and only be able to look at the gorgeous stuff there... :(

Gemm I am so pleased for you that you got the outcome you wanted.. :D It must be very difficult there at the moment.. Atleast you have a nice long weekend to look forward to and a short week..

Melissa Hope it goes well for you telling your cherubs after school about their g.g... :)

Tomsmom We had torretial rain and really bad gusts last night, I have not inspected outside yet... dreading to...

For anyone who has got flowers that have been blown off, I saw on a demo last week on Create and Craft, a flower being pressed between a cuttlebug type machine, the outcome was spectacular!! Then inks were used to paint around it... I am sure there are you tube demo's.. sounds yuk, but it wasn't.. apparently fuschia flowers give a good effect, lavendar doesn't do anything...

CG Hope you have a lovely birthday weekend :D

Right, I am going to go and have a piece of toast now and I MUST make some cards, there are lots and lots to make, July is such a busy month for events...
Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash! :o

leia I love your wedding card, no wonder you got so much money for it it's definitely worth it! what did you use to edge the hearts with, looks a bit like lacy paper?

I used small paper lace hearts that Rainmac sent me in a stash swap so hopefully she'll be able to remember where they're from as i'd quite like some more too lol :D

Mel just wanted to say a huge thank you as your blog is so useful with the list of current challenges :T Sorry to hear about OH's Grandad.

Rusty I used Glimmer Mist for the first time on the wedding card on my blog and love it! It gives a gorgeous pearlised finish. I haven't used Cosmic Shimmers or Smooch before... Glad Maddison is okay after her fall.

TomsMom that's horrible about the cat bringing baby rabbits - I wouldn't mind disposing of mice as they've vermin but would get upset at bunnies lol

Gemm I bet you're relieved now that work have accepted you voluntary redundancy.

Hello you busy bees..............I still haven't really caught up but melissa -sorry about OH's Grandad......sending hugs (((((:o)))))))xx

Not done a lot today except try and sort out my fabric samples in some sort of order instead of having a load of different envelopes shoved in the drawer. So, now they're fairly organised in a photo album so at least I can see what I've got. I actually got round to using some of the shower fabric ones just for notelets...........I'd ordered stripey ones in different colours.
Finished off all my handbag charms as well........well sort of...........OH got me some brass rings but came home with the size I'd hang a curtain with...................lol (have to get some smaller ones next week I think..........lol)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

The baby ones weren't dead, just playing dead, clever bunnies! They ran off as soon as the cat dropped them. She actually brought two back in one day, we think it might have been the same one. I said to OH "This rabbit will probably be on the doorstep in the morning and will say I've saved your cat the trouble of fetching me" :rotfl: . The only dead rabbit we've ever had was the one I found under the table and it wasn't a baby, more a teenager. I was a bit sad about it and had to dispose of it myself as OH was in hospital at the time.

I've just done a mammoth blog hop, hopefully I've visited and commented on everyone's blogs. Off to try and make a card now. Not sure where today's gone.

Thankyou, it is very cute :) Hows the jewellery going?

I'm busy colouring in some mouse pictures at the mo ready for the 'Thankyou Teacher' cards I'm making for Alex, the one problem I'm having is knowing how many to make as he keeps adding names! There seems to be a lot of teacher assistants...may be doing the one to them all! :rotfl:

I was going to make the 'Thankyou' cards for family as both kiddies have had their birthdays but when in Home Bargins today I found an 8 pack for 39p with a cute doggie pic on the front so there getting them instead, it wil help as the boilers being fitted a week on monday!

I'm afraid I can't join the 'No buying stash' group as I have bought today but I have been good & not bought anything in a while for my craft stash...promise :A Emily & I had a trip out to Derby Garden centre & I bought a pack of 14 nesting squares for my bigshot (made by cookie cutter) they were £15.50, I think thats good? :p

Best get back to my colouring in before I have to get ready for work tonight...boooo...hugs, love to all & hope no one gets hurt tonight :o xXx
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j

Well I arrived home from picking middle DS from school and OH had already told Leo about his great-grandad, all Leo said was that he had gone to heaven. I told them both that Nanny would be sad and that they needed to be extra nice to her.

CGcockcroft - I'm glad that you got everything sorted re your car and I hope you have a fab weekend!!!!

Gemm - at least everything seems to be sorted at your work now.

Lei-Armstrong - my blog has helped me a lot to keep more organised, I'm glad you found it useful!
