Quite tempted to pop to New Look on the way home and see if they have it in any other colours. I should be doing proper shopping or else the poor cat will starve, ho hum.

Me too. I think it's the irritation trying to be released.

I'm dressed ready to go. I shall probably be the only mum there as it's an 8 year old's party, but hey, any excuse to dress up!
I'm wearing the navy floral dress with floaty sleeves, grey footless tights (found reduced to £1.20 in Sainsburys today!) tan wedges that don't really go but I want to be tall!

My gold swallow earrings I discovered today the metal had worn off in patches. I managed to salvage them by painting the dodgy area with a white nail polish (3 coats!) and then painted tiny coral flowers on the while using a pin head as a brush, just five dots as petals and a grey blob in the centre. Looks really pretty and I'm pleased that I can still wear them on holiday.

    Hello, beauties!!

Apologies for neglecting you all. I have been stalking you but was determined to work hard and not idly chatter.

Hope you're all well. Vicki - if I'm not around tomorrow have a wonderful holiday (as if you need telling).

I've been car-booting this morning and have the found the most amazing things, I've got to draw the winner of my giveaway's name out of a hat and three lovely people have sent me awards today...I don't know what on earth to blog about later!

    Today's outfit (at the moment):
Orange Kate Moss at Topshop playsuit
    Grey opaque tights
    Vintage plaited leather hip belt
    Vintage Roland Cartier riding boots
    Old skool black leotard
Om Earrings, silver bangles and rings
Black leather statement necklace with studs and gems

...but will get changed later for hospital visiting, I expect. The ward sister tells me that her staff and the patients all look forward to seeing my daily outfit so I have to keep making an effort!

and vicki i find there's something quite therapeutic and rewarding about repairing / reworking things which are damaged..
i usually find i have to adapt anyuthing / everythign i buy from accessorize, within about a week or so of buying ! i think i just have bad luck from there!

That's such a lovely thing to read - the power of fashion eh? :D

The top tier of my jewellery stacker is filled with broken stuff. I should really get round to fixing it all one day :o
