I'm looking at these 4 to begin with - if I'm going to order, I usually order a few things at a time to make postage worth while. I've usually been OK, but just recently had an issue with a couple of pairs of shoes from Office, and now I'm nervous!0 -
Thanks Alex, actually one of the dresses I was looking at is one I think you have (Oh dear, the mortification of stalking people's blogs and admitting to it) - the black one with the white trim, kind of lacy/crochet? Let me nip off and find some links - that is such a kind offer.
I'm a 14, and about 5 foot 4. I'm fairly hourglass and find that I can go down (or up, sometimes) in size depending on the fit.
Don't be mortified! I like the fact people read my blog - just get signed up and start commenting
This one? It's gorgeous, such nice material. I got in a 16 though which I'm sort of regretting as it's too big now and I don't want to get rid of itI'd definitely say get it, but if you're verging on a 12/14 then get the 12 as it's quite generously cut.

Oh I really like them allI think the last 3 look to be about the same length but I'm not sure about the first one - might be a smidgen short?
I don't think any of them will be in stock at my store given that they're on sale and the sale section there is rubbish! Perhaps someone on here has one of them and could let you know more?

Yes, that's the one. It looks a very decent length on you - how tall are you Alex? Congrats on the weight loss:j - I am trying very hard to lose a few pounds at the moment and not finding it at all easy, I think you've done brilliantly.
I have been known to buy something I adore in two sizes - one to wear 'now' and one to wear post weight loss. It has been worth it in about 80% of cases, and the other 20% are in progress0 -
hello, thanks alex ;P
yes i have the top one..it's q short on me..(5'6"), but not quite too short iykwim..that said, i've only worn it with l;eggings or black tights so far..
the spotty and heart-back ones were in the sale in my store t'other day, and looked ok length-wise to me..0 -

Thank youI'm only 5'2 so it's a nice length on me but I don't think I'd wear it with bare legs cos of the crochet detailing - black tights make me feel more secure!
Hehe, I like your plan! I'm putting a veto on buying proper bits of clothing at the moment, just for another month or so, then a size 14 shopping trip will take place. I'm already making the list0 -
I'm very happy as got an absolute bargain whilst out!
A Sigg water bottle each for Mum and I (these) http://www.sigg-aluminium.co.uk/patterned-sigg/
for £3.99 each! We both wanted a nice bottle as we neeeed to drink more, so I used the last tenner of my bday money to treat us to a 1l one each0 -
I don't do bare legs, which presents a problem in an Australian summer
so would be expecting to wear the dresses above to be paired with leggings or opaque tights - we're going into winter here anyway. I have a few issues with body image and don't really do bare arms or legs, so they would also have t-shirts underneath, or cardigans over the top.
Piratefairy, the dress that you have, is it OK to bend over in, without stopping to think about it, IYKWIM? I'm a teacher so need to be able to wear clothes I can just forget about!0 -
Bargain!! Which design did you go for? I love the flower girl one.
Was the appointment ok?0
