Just waiting for DH to come come, quick handover and then I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Lakeside here I come.

I think I'm going to try the Oasis dress on again and if I still love it then I'll get it full price. It's probably more moneysaving to buy it in time to take on holiday than to hold out for a discount code (and possibly not get one). I'd potentially save £14 so although that's quite a lot I think the wear it'd get on holiday would be worth it.

    Am I right or deluded?

ETA, I blew out the Hen Night so that's money saved already!

Good for you. No point in going to things that you don't really want to go to and spending money that could be used to treat yourself to something special. :) Try the dress on again, if it's right for you then buy it and enjoy it!

vicki, try the dresss on again, yes, and if you still like it, i'd say go for it, you've had a lot of time to consider, and the extra wear you'll get from it on hol will make it worth it! i think it's a sensible purchase if you love it, because it'll make you more likely to wear it than something cheaper which you'Re maybe not so sure about!

It did nothing for me, just made me look dumpy and pregnant!

Ditto the gorgeous turquoise and white stripy beachwear dress - I think it's the whole drawstring waist type thing that just doesn't look good for me.

    I've been Money Tipped!
re long socks: the cream ones are the very hardest to wear. I think you need fantastic legs to pull them off.

Ugrh, I'm so tired...you know those mornings where everything ges wrong? I had one of those, spilling a litre of water in on the chicks..meaning I had to clear up and start again, while a dozen little chicks experimented with wading, thinking it was great fun....then the hire car I'd hired for today had no cigarette lighter bit for sat nav...so drve to London terrified I had forgotten my way round....I hadn't, but I did sail past Baker street.

I left home an hour late..the water accident, faling over outside, etc etc and got to London 45 mins late, got my dad from hospital then drove home, thankfully with no more badness but I'm so tired!

I had to stop on the way back to get a coffee and some water hadn't had anything before then, and I was so thirsty!

I wore a maxi: so comfy, so easy.

Which I definitely don't have! I did spot some cute dark ones in the New Look sale yesterday though so may pop back and get them.

Any long legged lovelies want my very pretty cream socks? Only worn once :rotfl:

Lost - sounds like you need a good rest this afternoon! Hope your dad's ok and that the chicks enjoyed their paddle :)
