Just back from voting and currently scoffing some breakfast before heading off to work.

I thought that such a (hopefully) important day deserved the debut of a new frock so my outfit consists of:

Black dress with cream detail round hem and bodice - Primark via ebay (and it's a size 14 :D )
    Forest green tights - M&S
Green & white harlequin patterned IC flats - ebay
Forest green cashmere cardi, all tied up and tweaked cos it's massive now - DP
Beaded necklace - birthday present from a lovely MSE lady :)

Voted - it was dead quiet but I suppose most people go in the evening after work.

Think I'm in PMS land as I found it quite emotional - the responsibility of it (not that my one wee vote makes all that much difference, but every vote counts) and thinking of all those women who worked so hard for the right to vote. Tears welling up again - def PMS! :o

I won't be voting until after work - O/H left for work at 7.30 and I didn't get up til 8! We'll both walk along later.

    Outfit:
Black 3/4 length stretchy Mexx top
Brown with very fine blue check wide pants from TK Maxx
    Black belt - Primark
Brown wedge boots - River Island

There was a queue when I went! I occupied myself with looking at shoes. We were a very well shod queue :D

I think that's a lovely reaction Sarah, it shows it really matters to you :) My main thought was that we had all these candidates that I've heard nothing from - I would have loved to chat to the Green candidate for the local elections but we didn't even get a flyer through the door :(

Just wanted to pop by and say I'm so sorry for not keeping up on here. I have been really trying but I don't get on as much and when I do I get a little overwhelmed in all thats been going on/said that I don't want to leave anyone out.

I have been following all your blogs from my phone and now I'm on the PC am leaving comments.

I do think of you all often though and hope you are all doing okay. Hugs.
