Firstly how did you come up with the £6.30 ph figure? My gut feeling is that it's too low but what di I know lol! I would probably call some agencies and ask about going rates as well as googling to see.
How did you word it when you said what you were looking for?
If it were me, I would send her an email saying that you have had chance to look into the rates, consider the work and duties and responsibility and that you would actually be looking for £X.
It's totally up to you though, if you'd be happy earning £6.30 and want the experience then go for it.
Also would that be a live in job where you live with the family in which case you are getting free lodgings which is fair enough but if you turn up each day then that's different. I am assuming you'd not be live in?0 -
Evening.
Daisy - that NL dress is lovely.
Bronnie - you look great in your pic. Wasn't sure if it's actually you or a celeb - you're very glam!
Blog updated with more holiday pics. Bit depressed at work today - same old, same old. Oh well, another bank hol in a few weeks...
Off to look at blogs.

*hugs Sarah*
parents are out,
decided to stay up later rather than head to bed now, so am chilling with a diet coke and the cat on my lap0 -
That Bank Holiday will be here before you know it Sarah, and it's practically the weekend anyway. Do you have anything fun planned?
I should probably don my swimming costume and go to the baths. Bah, I can't be arsed with it tonight but it's a good few weeks since I've been due to holiday and suchlike, and if I don't start going again soon I'll probably run out of all steam.0 -

True - only 3 full weeks of work and then it's another 4 day week (not that I'm counting or anything). Going to a friend's for dinner on Sat night. She's an amazing cook. Really looking forward to it.
Went swimming at lunchtime today for the 1st time in about 6 weeks (work's been too busy to get out lately but I've made a new resolution to take a lunch break).
Had forgotten how good I feel after a swim. And also how s**t my hair looks afterwards! Tina Turner look in the office on swimming days!

Oh I had a lovely evening to take my mind off my awful day, went to the cinema with a friend to see dear john, and have only just got home from a drink after..
Nice to chat to someone who's Far enough removed from my everyday life sometimes, if you know what I mean..0 -
I went to get dh from the station in pyjamas. I know...shoot me.
Feel wired tonight. might have a lavender bath or something, but also think might be getting a bladder infection...weird feeling in pelvis and, strangly, metallic taste in mouth. tomorrow I'm wearing blue to the polling station.....blue eye make up dress and everything.0 -
Working lots again this week as my best friend who I work with has broken her foot. So not much exciting to update on.
Plans for tomorrow include voting (which I am very excited about!) and going for a long walk in the woods as my boyfriend is off work.
Wood walk outfit will be: jogging bottoms, some top/cardi combo and my Easytones.
However I feel I need a better outfit for voting!0 -
Char, yay for a nice end to the day
Lost, nah, no shooting!
Tsabo, have a good day!
I'm off to vote with my Dad this morning, we'll be a right pair as I am stiff and achey from walking too much yesterday
and he's the same from gardening too much!0 -
Morning,
I've just found a giant, v sleepy looking wasp in my kitchen - aaargh! Hope there's not a nest of them lurking in my place somehere.
Today's outfit will be:
- Black Gap tee
- Black Zara boyf cardi
- New black shorts from Topshop sale - sort of skirt/culotte like style with gold buttons
Off to vote before work.
Have a great day.
