Char, you've got taxes to pay off! Can you really justify buying any at all this month?

ps - I love everything about those shoes but the vile heels!
  • I've not been around for a few days and have just finished catching up.

Goan, I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. It's good to have you back though.

Daisy, I'm glad you had a lovely birthday and good news about your course.

Vicki, the material looks gorgeous. How much did you get of each?

It's been a bit chilly here today but I wanted to feel springlike when I went shopping so I wore a pink coat with white flowers on. This was over a brown dress with tropical type flowers, purple diamond pattern tights and purple shoes.

After shopping I went to the Blood Donors but couldn't donate because I mentioned that I was bit by a dog yesterday and they said I would have to wait two weeks :(

alex, i said imaginary total ;)

i've already paid my tax - as a result of their mistake, not because i have ever failed to pay what has been asked of me, it gets deducted from my wages lol...just means my wages were less than usual..and have paid my bills today too, even though they're not due till the end of may :)

Oh you're very organised :D Don't go too nuts with the spending though.

And I'll stop nagging now, honest :rotfl:

    I passed my first module!

High end of grade C which given the circumstance is a miracle
