Hello lovelies, remember me? Hope you're all well.

Got back from India just under 11 hours ago. Goa was as beautiful as always but whilst we were well into our second week I received the awful news that Mum had collapsed due to an undetected serious illness and despite our best efforts we were unable to get home any earlier due to the Icelandic earthquake. Needless to say the remainder of the trip has been a nightmare. We're off to the hospital shortly but the news is bleak and there's nothing anyone can do.

I will attempt to catch up with blogs and gossip over the weekend, I think I'll need some diversions over the coming weeks.

Well, I've just been e-mailing with my media law course tutors and they have agreed to me deferring the second half of the course until the end of the year when I should hopefully be out of hospital and in a better place to complete the course.
That is such a relief as I'm struggling a lot with concentration right now and was panicking about not getting it done.

thats one thing off your mind then daisy, and perhaps better as otherwise you'll no doubt be worrying about it all the time your'e in hospital (knowing you lol) and that won't help!

Oh that's good news. What are you going to occupy your time with whilst you're in hospital? Is there much free time?

Sorry to hear your news Goan.

Daisy, that's great they've let you defer.

Goan sorry to hear your news :(

Daisy, is fab that they are letting you defer, takes the pressure off you abit!

I love make up, but am pretty rubbish at it. Would love to be able to perfect the smokey eye look, but always look abit like I have had a fight! I just tend to stick to the simple look!

    Today I am wearing

    Blue and black floral dress
    Black knee high socks
    Black riding boots
    Black waist belt

grr. i have to order a number of badges, to be made and ready for everyone who is planning ot attend our division event in june. the order neeeds to be placed today or they won't be ready in time. but guess what, half the leaders havenm't replied yet, despite the fact the last date for replies was yday!

so i'm not sure whether to leave the ordering till tues, and risk them not being reayd in time, ordering a random amount more than confirmed numebrs in the hope i can sell them all / have enough, or declaring the cut-off closed and only ordering for those who bothered to reply in time.

Goan - glad you are back safe and well you have been missed. Really terrible news about your Mum, it must have been so frustrating for you not to be able to get back to her. Thinking of you x
