Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I own a couple of nice bits of clothes from Next, my Mum is a loyal fan and is good at seeking out "younger" pieces,
but generally I associate it with being "old" too.

Me too!!! I don't know what it is about Next but I definitely see it as too 'old/mumsy' for me... :o I own nothing at all from Next.

LOL, you are so clever!!! Bet you can't wait to get all your lovely things out of storage and display them properly. Any progress on the house buying project?

No. we are still really keen on the plot we saw a few weeks ago and have registered an interest. there are some financial headaches with it (we can afford it on a domestic mortgage but there is no building/planning so it has to be on an agricultural one, and that requires a larger deposit that we want to put down for starting building ...all very difficult). we're looking at an actual house this week too, my dad and I, not DH for the first viewing. It wouldn't be a forever house though, but would be really fun to love in for a while. This is more expensive short term, and doesn't offer me big business oppertunity....I still prefer the land option. If we do that because my dad wants to come with us...he thinks...we'll also have to buy a cottage near by for him. I don't think he's cope in camping in a mobile home: he's VERY straightlaced and clean shaven!

I think I've got an old Next handbag and maybe a pair of shoes. Possibly a few bits bought from charity shops too. Did get an amazing jumper in there the one year I went to the January sale (about ten years ago ) - it was dark green and really soft, not knitted though, more like snooker table fabric to be honest, but it was lovely!

Hello lovelies, remember me? Hope you're all well.

Got back from India just under 11 hours ago. Goa was as beautiful as always but whilst we were well into our second week I received the awful news that Mum had collapsed due to an undetected serious illness and despite our best efforts we were unable to get home any earlier due to the Icelandic earthquake. Needless to say the remainder of the trip has been a nightmare. We're off to the hospital shortly but the news is bleak and there's nothing anyone can do.

I will attempt to catch up with blogs and gossip over the weekend, I think I'll need some diversions over the coming weeks.

Ooh I love the No7 vouchers :) Most of my nail varnish stash has been bought as a result of using them.
