We paid almost £8 for a skirt pattern a few months ago

yep, there's only one shop which sells patterns in town, and they're at least £7..
i usually look out for sales on them, although i picked up a brilliant book in a charity shop the ohter week about how to make your own patterns!

Oh and I just had a phone call from a friend reminding me that we are visiting a pre school for their open evening today. Thankfully it's early so we should still be home in time to have a play with the machine.

I like the purple dress but with the elasticated waist of the black one. I might do some shirring around the purple though.

    Good choice I think!

The superlambananas?! There are penguins too!

I should probably venture further out into Liverpool more, I'm so lazy! There always used to be loads of little markets/fairs/boutique shops that I spent all my money in as a teenager but haven't been to for years and years.

I finally bought a pair of nude court shoes today, with a Fiorella clutch purse that should work well with the dress. I also bought 'coralicious' nail varnish, but no jewelry in the right colours.. still all should work well together.

    that sounds good Lost!

I'm doing a chocolate fudge cake with a mound of his favourite sweets/choc on top. Simple but should look impressive.

My father is such a chocaholic, worse than the most hormone driven women I know :p

I have resisted the lure of the cherry cake today. I'm quite impressed with myself :)

How did the weigh in go Daisy? (or would you rather not talk about it?)

It didn't go the way I had panicked about, nor the way it should have gone :o
I'd oddly dissapointed in myself (oddly as it's a new feeling for me) as I've really been working hard to maintain,
thankfully it wasn't down enough for her to want hospital this week.
