Daisy - Moomin wallet is gorgeous! I used to watch them when they were on, Alex my brother used to be scared of them too (and the flumps and the Schmoo) which amused me no end :)

    Moomins! :D

Morning all, lovely sunny morning here although can see big black clouds coming in from the distance!

    Today's outfit is:
Teal blue 3/4 sleeve top (Debenhams)
Cream and blue striped short sleeved cardigan (New Look)
Tweed skirt, sort of dull lime green (Daks from TK Maxx)
    Blue tights
    Black heels
    Square Swatch pendant

The green and blue don't sound like they should go together but I think they look nice in a clashy sort of way.

So impressed with the woman I've been in contact with from the new job I start in a few weeks, she emailed me today with some final details and included the dress code - first time I think I've ever been told that before starting a job! I think 'business casual' might be a little bit smarter than what I tend to wear at the moment but I can manage that OK :)

That's DH's work dress code too. easier for women I think. The women at DH's office usually opt for either smart trousers, with shirts and sweaters or smart tops, or skirts with less formal tops, or simple shift dresses. There is a brilliant sounding woman he worked with in Rome who wore 1950s clothes she'd inherited.
  • morning everyone,

Lost time no post, still no internet at home :( so no blogging and not much time spend on here with you lovely ladies :(

But I'm just checking in quickly from work (temp job archiving - v boring)

Today I am wearing black trousers, green/black red herring dress £2 (maybe £3) carboot, green mary janes, black cardi and pearl earrings. I've been dressed smart for the office all week but tomorrow is dress down day or for me dress up :D

lots of love to everyone and welcome to the newbies, glad to se we are growing and growing

my internet connection should be on within the next 2 weeks, bloody sky seem to take FOREVER to connect everything and it has to be done in stages, I'm not impressed at all but alas. so I will be back to blogging outfits again as soon as I can, I really miss it and really miss you all x
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
