hmm, ok, so i didn't keep away long!

    i like this maxi!!

    http://www.asos.com/Mango/Mango-Border-Print-Maxi-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1086753&cid=8799&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=200&sort=-1&clr=Cream

think it's too much for something that's guaranteed to be too long for me though :(

Looks like I'm going lipstick shopping on the way home - the taxi driver swerved and braked to avoiding crashing on Saturday and I went face first into the floor of the cab. No real injuries but I think I must have bitten my lip - it looked a bit pouty yesterday but the bruise has come out today, argh!

Char - that is absolutely stunning but really quite expensive and if it's too long, half that beautiful pattern round the hem will go :(

I love the jersey maxi that Daisy has but I fear it would cling to my huge stomach and look very unflattering.

It doesn't hurt, just looks a bit weird. If I can find a shade of red lippy that suits me, I'll just whack on some of that and pretend I'm Angelina Jolie :D

    Nails sound pretty!

Ouch Alex. It always amazes me the number of people who don't put a seatbelt on in a taxi, and with kids and babies too, madness. Just be thankful it was just a bust lip Alex xx.
DB post is on it's way xx
The ebay sewing machine went for over £60 so I'm quite disapointed. I'd love the on you recommended Kandi especially as I know where to go for help! I don't really want to spend that much or I will be in the doghouse if I don't use it as much as I think I will.
Went into our local sewing machine shop for their "friendly advice and great range" to be practically laughed out of the shop with my budget, told that it was a waste of money getting a second hand one or a lower price one and was told to ask DH for more money. I was so miffed that I headed straight to the garden centre for a pick me up splurge, bought rosemary, thyme and sage plants.
