Vicki, I like the second dress you linked best, but I think making one would be even better. The first is very.....what I think they might think you might wear IYSWIM.
right...does anyone remember my flip flops missing a crystal? well another one snapped off and as Daisy had told me to go out I decided to take them to Monsoon. The manager was LOVELY ...and very very pretty, not skinny, but statuesque and with the face of a very adult angel. She had a look and the crystals just fell off into her hand she was amazed I hadn't lost more of them in one wear! So I was told I could swap for any similar pair I wanted in the shop!!!!
It was really fun the manager and a sales assistant and I scurried round getting them all out and then they kept a pair f eack on my shortlist back while I browsed and thought.
They have silver ones the same, but I am more of a gold gal really, and tbh O feel a little nervous of them. I toyed with some browny-ones, and some turquoise ones but thought the turquoise looked a bit plastic, but in the end got these sandals.

I also bought and orange and pink sleeved silk tunic reduced from £90 to £22.50 and a green poofy sort of tunic in silk reduced from £65 to 32.50. I also bought a very light cotton artisits smock style shirt for £15 from m &s mainly because I think it will work to smarten up my shorts and cover my arms from the sun and people's eyes if I want to garden when people might call round.0 -

Ooh I have a polka dot one (wore it to the races) which is very similar. I wouldn't have paid £8 for it mind you, it was a present. Alas it kept pinging off my weirdly shaped head
The crocheted headband is delicious, I want it too!
Daisy - love that ring!0 -
Lost - I love those sandals! What a successful shopping trip

Vicki - making one would be a great idea. I totally understand what you mean about wanting to cover your arms up, I just worry that big sleeves will swamp you as you're so petite. Is wearing a little cardi or shrug over a maxi dress a complete no-no? If so, doubt I'll be getting one any time soon!0 -

but it's still not in the sale, and thus is still toooo expensivE!
thats so cute, very hippy-ish I love it...Id love to be able to crochet, Ive tried before and threw it all on the floor in a tantrum haha...I can knit though but havent done that ether for years! I need to get back in touch with some long forgotten skills I think.**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -

a bit lame, but beats this house.
Sadly a bit too cold out for the park
That's not lame, it sounds like bliss!
I'm bored of being cold now. All this sunshine is very deceptive - it's freezing at the moment!0
