Grrr had to wait for 45 mins without make up as they were running late. Got some antibiotics so fingers crossed.
Lost what great news about your shoes, I love the ones you chose. Isn't is nice when shops treat customers properly. Your hair sounds amazing.
DB, DH hates it when the homeless guys come in and nurse a tea all day, but then they are usually drunk and abusive towards customers and that is his issue. I'm sure you're not offending anyone so you'll be OK!

Haha no I just sit quietly for half an hour, or some reasonable length of time if I'm on my own,
any longer and I either get another drink/leave!

    Right,
    making my bid for freedom.
I bet after 20 mins Mum'll ring to check how long I've been out/how far I've gone :rotfl::o

Sorry! :( It's too dear for me as well, although there is a 20% off offer at the moment...

Vicki you should definitely make a dress! Remember to go up a size if the pattern's vintage though.
Crochet is brilliant PF, I'd been trying to learn since I was small but it finally clicked in my early 20s and I love it, once you have mastered the basic stitches everything else is easy unlike knitting - HATE knitting!

What a morning, I made oldest offspring get up to say goodbye to other offspring, we were sitting there watching Sky news in yesterday's make up and dressing gown (black with white spots, made myself) and she got a call at 8.40 asking if she could get to Manchester airport for 10am for an 11am flight (about 45 mins from my house) so I quickly rang my brother to check he was ok with the change of time, I drive but not far so he'd been roped in, washed my face and dressed, Jazz packed the few things she'd had out, drove to my brother's, continued in his car and we were there 60 minutes after she'd had the call, not bad going! So she's now halfway there and lots of others who didn't make the flight won't be arriving til Saturday evening, we're hoping she gets a bit of a holiday!

Yay, glad she got off ok Mariel :) I hope she enjoys herself..i know it's work, but you know what i mean..
and i really like knitting, keep trying to get my guides to be enthusiastic enough that they want to do some, but we've compromised on a sewing evening this term so that they can all make a drawstring "plate bag" to take on camp with them..

really like that butterfly dress for you retro ...can you maybe sell some older clothes on ebay and then use the pp funds to buy it?? thats what i try to do when i/m broke...

    Hello ladies

lovely day here but it's still a bit chilly. Lost, I love those sandals. It's just the sort of thing I've been looking for - I've got loads of wedge sandals, but need some flats and I always forget about Monsoon about shoes.

Thank god for wedges though. I can't wear big heels (unless there're very chunky) because my dodgy knee, which has been alarmingly unstable of late, but you can stick me up on the most skyscraper wedges and not a problem!

Daisy, just seen your blog and that dress is beautiful. When you posted the pic earlier, I just knew it would be just so you.

Currently flitting around in a dress I had for a wedding about 15/16 years ago and I thought had long gone.
blue & white patchwork print almost maxi smock dress (Dorothy P)
    white tshirt underneath

Going to change in a bit for work as it's a bit too chilly to wear and I haven't got anything coat/jacket-wise that I could wear over the top.

Will probably chuck a pair of flared jeans and maybe 70s style glittery print Pineapple tshirt on, with cream Russell & Bromley big wedge sandals (50p from car boot)

PF I have a ton of stuff to get on ebay (hopefully before the weekend) I tend to do ebaying in bulk haha but it takes me ages, have written all the descriptions on paper (much easier for me than sitting staring blankly at the computer wondering what to write) to type, just need to take pics- oh and actually list them...I like that bit do NOT like packing and posting!

Ive just had the Cath Kidston mag through the post (free off the website) Ive decided I want these and these for the summer! Maybe not at that price though, is there any around in the shops similar?

um my best suggestion would be that new look tend to do a heap of different patterned plimsolls, didn't check the price out just then, but they don't seem that expensive(new look ones i mean), my little sis loves them!
