Apparently she'll be arriving in mainland Greece at 9 on Saturday, goodness knows what time she'll arrive in resort! That's a lot of travelling, would drive me nuts - my favourite camp site is 5 miles from where I live!0

lol. It must have been frustrating waiting around though, I'd be glad to be on the move too. I'm anxious that it all settles down before we go. I will just cry if we cant go. I was a 3+ holiday a year girl before Dylan, it's been 3 years now and I'm itching to get on a plane!0

Which resort is she in, Mariel? DD and I are looking at booking a (very) cheapie to Lindos at the end of May. I haven't been there for 10 years, but love it there!
When are you going, Vicki and where??
Ooooh I love holidays, mine or anyone else's!!!!0 -
She won't find out until she gets there, they still have a bit of training to do and they sort resorts out then. All she knows is that it is Rhodes and she doesn't want Faliraki!
When and where are you going Vicki?0 -
Rhodes is lovely. I went this summer with my mum and brother. Lindos is fab Bronnie. I think we were in Lardos which is a 5 or 10 minutes bus ride away and a lot cheaper so that could be an option? The transport is very good.
I'm so envious of your daughters job Mariel! Holidays are my favourite thing. Off to Kos in July and I could pack my suitcase now, i've been buying things for months!
Vicki - that sounds awful, but what a great excuse to find the perfect dress! Do you have a budget? I'd work Dylan and DH around your dress so you're the center of attention but all look lovely. I agree that maxi sounds the best option and they're so versatile.0 -
I don't think we could get much cheaper!! £224 each for flights, transfers and a week's accomodation in an apartment in the centre of the village. I know what to expect for the accom, village rooms are very basic, although it gets OK reviews.
Kos is an island I haven't visited , no wonder you can't wait!!...I don't often go back to the same place , but I really wanted DD to have the Lindos experience as she hasn't been before.0 -

Vicki - I'm sure you'll look fab but don't some people drive you insane:mad: thoughtless comments, know its easier said than dine but rise above it and keep your head high, very intriguing though that its being paid for;)
Mariel - once went to Spain on a bus- never again, though of going to Greece plus ferry rides not a good thing for me, but sure your daughter will have a brill time

Going on a shopping day on Friday my wardrobe is etting in desperate need of some new additions:D but isn't it always the case that when you go shopping purposely you can never find anything? or is it just me:o0 -
Not just you Lola, I can never find anything when I'm looking but when I'm broke/not shopping for me I find tonnes!0

Ow..I forgot last night, but when I went for a walk last night I wore some glos pumps with an elasticated bit at the back, which are now too big really, so don't stay on my ankles, which I thought was ok, I just wore them as slip ons at the front..little did I realise i managed to cut the bottom of both my feet by rubbing against the strap. Will need some comfy shoes today I think!0
