the problem might be the colours you are wearing with your skin tone? soft shades glare less with luminous white for subtlety...

Yea thats very true. Your right, black was silly to wear with my white legs lol. I wore black to slim my legs a bit. Will remember that and go for lighter ones. Thanks.

I'm lilly white too and have tried fake tan. I de-fuzz and exfoliate and moisturise but I still look like streaky bacon!

yea thats what I fear and end up looking like too!:rotfl:

I can't be bothered with trying to be brown anymore. Like Ice, however careful I am it always looks tacky. I think black can look really striking on pale skin but you have to be comfortable with your whiteness.
I love soft duck eggs and teals, soft muted greens would also look amazing. Oh and navy too.

Well, I have just ironed my clothes for tomorrow

beige bootcut jeans (I have not worn for years as they have been to small until now) - DP's
White sleeveless blouse with a gathered drawstring waist thingy (not worn for years either!) - Wallis
Beige sleeveless cardi that's longer at the front - DP's
Brown Wedges - Next (same as today)

Do you wear tights Vikki? Daisybella (will be in bed now) is a regular on this thread and she wears tights all year round.
  • Evening,

I'm a typical Scot - milk bottle white and burn scarlet red within 5 mins of being in the sun. Really envy people who take a tan, but have given up on fake tanning. I just can't get it right.

Ice - well done on the ironing. I should sort something out for work tomorrow, but can't face it now.

    Night all

    xx

I used to iron my clothes in the morning but I was finding I was rushing too much so force myself to iron them the night before (thats if I can't get away with not ironing them at all!)

I hate ironing with a passion which is why I don't iron in "loads"

Hello. It's me, lurking away and enjoying your conversation. I too am much more comfortable in winter clothing. I like layers and dark colours - much more flattering. And I'm also very pale with no ability to tan... gah!

My staples for summer include floral dresses, denim, stripes and khaki. And I always say embrace the pale!
