    hi everyone...back again :D

Thanks Daisy and Vicki - work was rubbish this morning, I was working with a really lazy girl who wouldn't pull her weight, we were cleaning 2 sections together and she told me she was going at 7.45am because she had done enough (hoovered one section and swept one set of stairs leaving me to do the toilets on both sections, the bins, sweeping, mopping and tables and the classrooms and hoovering on another section), I got quite cross and told her to pull her weight and if she didn't I'll call the agency, I've never seen someone work so hard after that, cheeky moo.

Well done on the coursework daisy :D

Looking forward to seeing what you make out of your miss selfridge finds Vicki :)

PF - I used to wonder why I offered to do things at work and then sat there avoiding it because I actually hated what it was I'd offered to do. I used to be a massive people pleaser but I'm much quicker to say no these days. (ETA - not saying that you are one btw just saying I was too quick to say yes to everything xx)

Lostin - hope you feel better soon - you've been poorly loads recently :( xx

And all this talk of offering to tidy up for eachother...if anyone wants to come and do my packing they are more than welcome ;)

Right got a few ebay parcels wrap and to get to the post office, then I've got an appointment at uni at lunchtime, then work this afternoon...and try and pack a couple of boxes between now and then...phew it's all go. Doubt they'll be an outfit post today...I might not even get a shower or get changed until after work this evening...is that super skanky? (I think I know the answer to that is yes if I have to ask!!)

Alex - thanks for the keyring, it's fab :D

Daisy - keep an eye out for postman today, sent recorded so expect a knock at the door shortly :D

    Lots of love xx

I do miss crafting as much as I used to, this time last year I was unstoppable! As soon as I can re-stock on charms and pendants then I'll probably really get back in to it again...oh and beads. Catch 22 as if I don't make stuff and sell it, I can't afford to re-stock as that's how I fund my hobby :p

    Right off to get ready,
just realised my jeans that will stay up are in the wash, so might have to make more effort, damn.

    Morning!
Oh im so jealous of anyone who makes there own jewellery, I don't have the patience or creativity for it . Does anyone sell it? I love having unique peices.

Speaking of hair cuts, ive got one next week and want something totally different, ive had below shoulder length feathered hair (with slight variations) since I was 11 .

Dragging the OH to Primark today, its a bit far away but the town has a Wilkonsons too so i'll see if I can get any bargains on beauty stuff lol (not that I really need any until erm December ish 2012 but meh)

Hope everyone has a good day (or it gets better for those who were up and out far earlier than me!)

oh lost, i can't stop sneezing now - looking at you!
and i totally agree with the shoddy (love that word lol) quality of things from accessorize, the amount of times i've had to take things back or fix them annoys me when all they seem to do is put up their prices!

queen, these minutes aren't even for work lol..guider division meeting last night to plan a picnic in a local pari where we are getting a centenary flower bed! the event is to be in june, so we need to get a move on, and by the length of time it took them to get thru the agenda last night, i can see it being me pushing everyone along - i'm new to this division and i dont think they quite know whats hit them, lol - most of them almost fell off their chairs when i said the minutes would be with them in the morning..
but thats how i work best - close to deadlines lol..

Lost- the Ness blazers are lovely- but i'm quite tiny and they seem just enormous on me. My friend has one and she wears it loads. I covet a pair of the wellies:).

PF- dust balls like a desert fly across the floor in my house- I have lots of wood flooring so can't imagine what must get into a carpet:eek:.

Daisy- i just sold 5 stitch markers on ebay made with really cheap beads for £3+ P&P. I think they would take about 20 minutes to make and I could use up Bry's extensive collection of beads from her past obsession, i might give it a go:).

Queen- well done for getting through that at that time in a morning.

I'm thinking of doing some craft fairs selling kitcshy retro style kitchenalia( 50's style pinnies, peg bags, bags etc made out of vintage/vintage style fabrics and simple little girls dresses, fabric retro toys, bunting etc and at christmas handmade decorations and cards too. What do you think? I think it would give me variety to sell to different people and stop me getting bored making the same thing over and over.

Re Accessorize- i love their stuff and have been lucky to have no problems with them.

Well I am still not showered and dressed, maybe should do it now!!

  • Hey everyone,

I'm really sorry i havent been on much - I'm spending all my free time constantly going over my budget to make sure i have enough case left for me and DD to survive and its giving me nightmares - i SHOULD be more than enough fine - but im so worried.

PF, your division sounds a bit like ours (roll eyes smiley :p).

meds, the craft fairs sound like a great idea ! We always pop to our local church ones and those types of stalls always seem to do well. :D

I wish I was as creative as all of you :( but alas my talents lie in the business side of life. I did do a nappy cake once and made my auntie cry when I gave it to her (was for her daughter, my cousin) and I do try and make my own cards but they're a bit rubbish :o.

    Morning girls :)

How's everyone doing today? I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday - not sure what's causing these fits of extreme gloom at the moment.

    Anyway, outfit is:

Black floral strapless dress - Primark
Black shrug, way too big so I've knotted it - Evans
    Red tights - Primark
Green rosette brooch - present from a lovely MSE lady
    Green satin pumps - Accessorize
    Loads of assorted jewellery
Hair up in a big twisty bun type thing.
