haha, i love sorting things out too, but why is it so much easier to do it at other people's houses?? did a bit of a speedy tidy this morning, it should be ok, i'll get home, and put tea on and tidy any other little bits, did all the proper cleaning, hoovering etc at the weekend, so that should be ok.
sorry alex, i tried on the dress which arrived yday and it does fit nicely - the seller has actually put something in the listing about it being vintage sizing?! but i'm not convinced. i just feel huge in itbut am wearing it anyway..

Because there is no emotion...the stuff we hang on to is the stuf we'd srt to get rid of in other people's homes....the things that should be trifted, or binned, but had something to do with a relative, a friend or an ex, or just things that made us happy: we see them as they were, not tatty and past their best.0 -
Hm, I have no idea what to do with my day now.0

Hmmm kitchen cupboards, I think mine are ok, just one that needs sorting (all my pickles and jams), might do that later if I've got time.
Daisy, what about baking? Do stuff you can freeze?:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
I haven't the energy for any more baking, otherwise I would
totally drained of everything this morning,
I need to go to Tesco at some point as the one thing I really needed yesterday, I forgot...but that will wait till this afternoon as I can get a lift with my Mum when she goes to work.
Might crawl back to bed for a while.0 -
In that case Daisy, a nice restful day sounds in order:D. Do you read? Curl up under the duvet with a good book !
I've just started reading again, I must see if I can get hold of more of the classics, especially the ones I've never read.
Pirate ...... I hope I'm not being too nosy but I was wondering whether you paid full price for your IC shoes? I love them but just can't justify spending that much on shoes ...... I think I need to start buying lottery tickets again :rotfl: I'm in awe of your collection xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
yeah, totally true lost..so much easier to swap houses and clear out a friend's lol..
i need to have a serious clear out i think..apart from the obvious clothes and shoes, i just have soooo much more stuff than when i moved in..0 -
jtb, i reckon about 20% have come from schuh, full price minus whatever the student discount is (either mine, the ex's, or my sister's lol)
most of them have come from ebay..some have been from tk maxx, which used to be good for the end of season ones, really cheap!0 -
Morning everyone.
Definitely go back to bed for a bit daisy, there's nothing better than creeping off and getting cosy again.
And I also think Lemsips are the work of the devil... but seem to be beloved by so many... ah well whatever works to help rid yourself of the evil cold.
i need to clean properly before the weekend, but i really can't be bothered. i've realised i am actually pretty slovenly.. as long as everywhere is uncluttered and tidy i can live with dust etc for quite a while!!
Bry is back at school today though still not properly well... she needs to plan her weekend with her friends I think. They are going through to Edinburgh to an underage club night arranged by their friend Hazza and staying at Floss's after for banters... I'm sure I never had such interesting weekends when I was 14.
