Not at all. I don't really mind what anyone else does, I have issues myself about eating meat but I just can bring myself to stop.

I'm the same, I don't mind what other people are doing so long as it is right for them..I just have a huge guilt complex about myself!

Best get ready for tesco fun :(
  • hi ladies...since there has been 10 pages of chat since I was here this morning i'm not even going to attempt to catch up!

Home in Nottingham now, train journey was pretty painless which always makes me smile, I was on a rail replacement mini bus which went round every little village in leicester when I was travelling to mum on saturday!!

Daisy I got post, thank you so much :D:D The skirt fit likes a dream, I haven't tried the top on yet but will soon :)

Found a few bits in the charity shops in nuneaton, so with that and the carboot I've come home with nearly a new wardrobe! I bought some black new look hareem (sp) pants for 99p - gonna have to try them out at home first though to see if I'm brave enough to wear them out of the house! What do other people wear them with??

I also picked up a black H&M short sleeved shirt in VCG for 99p, a New look black short sleeved jersey polo neck for 99p (since they seem to be a staple of mine) - all the 3 above from the PDSA on their clearence rail :D

I also got a black DP below the knee fitted pencil skirt with a little fish tail detail at the back (I think that's what it's called, it's like a little fan detail?) for £3.99 from the salvation army which is a little steep by my standards but my other black pencil skirt got scorched by the iron so it really did need replacing. There were a few other bits I saw in the others but managed to restrain myself!!

I've been thinking I need a blog challenge anyone got any suggestions?

    Lots of Love xxx

Afternoon, my lovely ladies! Sorry I've been neglecting you for the last couple of days so I haven't a hope in catching up with the gossip and chatter. Hope everyone is well, happy, healthy and had good weekends.

    I'm very happy today....
Not only have I won a vintage maxi skirt by my favourite 1960's designer label in my size and my perfect colourway (purple and orange) but also a 1960's floral zip-up waistcoat and an early 70's chiffon maxi dress for less than £10 the lot including postage :j !!! A whole new wardrobe should be with me soon.
I also managed two hour on-line chat with my best blogging pal in New Zealand this morning. We've got so much in common (almost the same birthday, same age, same partner's birthdays, both been in our relationship 17 years, love of travel, books, films, clothes and music and VW camper vans...). I'm so excited I could squeal!!!!

Today's outfit is up on the blog:

    Baggy carrot leg cropped jeans
    Black patent high heeled brogues
    Black opaques
    Black jersey body suit
    Tweed waistcoat
    Tan leather belt
    Dunn and Co flat cap
    (All vintage and second hand)
Silver coin earrings, bangles and rings

    Why are we booing Nestle?
I probably don't feel guilty enough about eating meat but it's the only thing I eat with any nutrients in. Plus, I love it.

I sometimes leave the tags in tops. If they're the type to just slide off hangers. My boyfriend saw some on a skirt of mine and thought they were if you wanted to wear it as a top.. :rotfl:

My tesco clothes haven't arrived, i'm not happy!

I've always had a couple of spots but for the last couple of weeks I've looked like a pepperoni pizza . The clinique cleanser/toner/moisturiser seemed to aggrivate it more :(. Its actually getting really depressing and its really affecting my confidence (i'm a beauty student and theres all these 'air brushed' people about me!)

I realise you probably don't have much money as a student but I would really recommend having a facial and getting some advice from a beauty expert (although as a beauty student you probably already know this). I found Clinique toner aggrevate my spots, but now use Dermalogica overnight clearing booster (although it is pricey) as soon as I get one and it clears up quickly. I also love the Decleor based products in between (when my bank balance can allow it).
