No, I cut them out and add them to my sewing box for projects too daydream!

ETA - I've noticed more and more of them recently, but I like it as they are usually perfect length for a bow, or a gift tag ribbbon lol

oh i need to go food shopping, i really need eggs..well, everything really..
then i can bake something nice, and start to take actual lunches to work again..think i may need to join the lunches to work thread, but based on how hopeless i've been with the NSD thread, perhaps i wont :S

I've saved an absolute fortune since I've stopped buying lunches. Also it's much healthier :) It needn't be too difficult either, just some soup or sandwiches or something doesn't take very long to prepare.
Am I the only person who cuts those thin ribbons out of the inside of clothes?
They can be annoying and I like to keep them in my sewing box for projects, but I'm amazed that the things I've got from ebay still have them on (even though they're used) even a strappy top where the ribbons were longer than the straps and very hard to keep out of the way.

Oh they drive me mad. I always chop them out.
  • I remember when they first started putting them in and a friend of mine went on a night out with the ribbons round her neck like on the coat hanger :rotfl:

I keep those little ribbons, they're great for cardmaking and for home made gift tags.
DB - If you want to replicate that Lucky Charm effect, all you need is a bag of sugar and a hammer. Just eat the whole bag of sugar and then any remaining teeth just give a great whallop with the hammer, that should do the trick.

    Plus they're Nestle, boo hiss.

    Glorious :rotfl:

One of my recent Primark tops had a really bizarre ribbon straight across the middle of the neckline. Not quite sure of the logic on that as opposed to two loops.

I wish I could "afford" to boycott nestle, as well as other companies I have issues with. But right now, if one of their products is one of the few things on my "okay" list, then as much as it pains me, my ethics have to be pushed to one side.

Ah, I get that one, it actually dos hold them on a cheap wire hanger better.

I like loops for decent hangers, but I've run out of decent hangers....so its all moot nyway!

sorry if I sounded snappy :o
I have a horrible battle in my head about my ethics and hate that I eat certain things...I used to be strict vegetarian but had to give it up literally to save my life because I couldn't manage to get enough nutrients any other way...
so I tend to get a bit over-sensitive about such things :o:o
