Am torn as to what to do for my birthday.
I was hoping to get a Mystery shop so we can go out to dinner but I don't think I'll get one now.
Other option is to go somewhere with Clubcard vouchers but I was hoping to save them in case Double up for clothes ever happens again.
The last idea was to do Orange Wednesday at Pizza Express but not sure how busy it will be?

I really wanted to do something special but have no inspiration. It needs to be quite MSE above all.

if it's nice weather could you pack up a picnic and do something that doesn't cost anything?

I wish I'd been born in the Summer to do that! I just think I'd end up cold and miserable, I'm trying to think of an idoor type place we could picnic?

Ohh the peach one caught my eye!

I think I might just pop up on Monday and get it. Excellent spring/summer colours eh?

yep, very "now" but the kind of colours that never date, and cardigans are so versatile.

DH and I did that for a birthday when I was really ill, I can't remember whether it was his or mine, bu it was in our mid twenties and we had a sitting room picnic/kids party, which was better than it sounds.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the baking. I was baking every couple of days last year when we had more hens but the fox took a lot and left me with just one layer. I think I might get a couple more soon.

we had a terrible year last year, a dog, a fox and then, a buzzard. :(:(

Chicken keeping can be so stressful.

We've had a badger or fox do some damage through the week, poor dh is tramping ut to the orchard, where the chicken house is, everytime he needs a pee...to lay his scent. Girls' pee doesn't work. :(

    Evening all :)

Stressy afternoon of DIY but it's done now, hurrah! And mushroom risotto and Prosecco for dinner makes Alex a happy girl :)

Oh Alex, you've reminded me I need to dig out a risotto recipe as that is something I can cook and plan to make one for my Dad this week as he's off work again.
I've also had a request for cheese scones lol.

The cake from yesterday has already gone

Anyone got any recommendations for an AMAZING (body) moisturiser?!
My skin is so embarassingly dry, it's literally falling off, so far I've tried:
E45, Baby lotion, baby oil, cocoa butter, oilatum emollient cream, aqueous cream and possibly a couple of others...
