Daisy - I sometimes get scary scaly legs  as they can get soooo dry, and I use Vaseline Intentive Care - its cheap enough so I lash it on. Or Baby Oil - I use the boots botanics one but I put it on when my skin is still wet and just pat myself dry.You can stand there and agonize........
Till your agony's your heaviest load. (Emily Saliers)0 -
thanks hun, will try the vaseline one next I think
thankfully my Mum is a hoarder and has most types of body lotion stashed away somewhere, so I just go shopping in her beauty storage box!0 -
Daisy, I've been using the Vaseline cocoa butter one which I think is fairly new. Smells lovely and isn't as thick or slow to absorb as Palmers whch is a bonus in my book, as I can't be faffed standing round for ages in the nip waiting for it to sink in!
I'm pondering cooking something with bananas in it as we have some fairly brown bananas (bleurgh!) in the fruitbowl. Any ideas anyone?0 -
Will look out for that Alex!
What about Banana bread? Or muffins?
search for banana on www.allrecipes.co.uk and see what comes up?
I pick most of what I bake using that site0 -

I've also had a request for cheese scones lol.
The cake from yesterday has already gone
Anyone got any recommendations for an AMAZING (body) moisturiser?!
My skin is so embarassingly dry, it's literally falling off, so far I've tried:
E45, Baby lotion, baby oil, cocoa butter, oilatum emollient cream, aqueous cream and possibly a couple of others...
Just popped on while OH sets the XBOX up to watch a film (have a feeling he's trying to sneak a quick game of whatever shoot-em-up he likes right now in first...) - Daisy, have you tried Aveeno? It's on offer in Sainsbury's at the mo, I got OH the fragrance free version for his eczema and he's really pleased with it.0 -
Ooh cheers for the link. I can foresee hours of fun on that site! I don't seem to do well with muffins for some reason so banana bread or cake may be the best way forward.
I'm buying things off the Tesco website, tut tut. My local store was crap though and had nothing nice so I limited my purchases to some silver rose earrings (£1) and some socks with red telephone boxes on (50p). The skirt and pj's I want are in stock in my size online so I'm treating myself, woop!0 -
GG- Aveeno...will look out!
Alex- yay treats0 -
Do I need a red skirt? Hmmm.0

Daisy bella, I've been doing a one woman not quite whole of market body butter test and rather prosaic compared to most I've ''tested''
is Dove Pro age body butter (I'm not ancient either) and it has definitely left skin softest...of everything I've tried...and I've tried lots and lots. If you resort to buying anything I'd try this. Aveeno is good, too. Most of the other supermarket ones don't come close. When I next buy it will be the pro age: its the only think that feel diferent the next morning, not just few hours later.
That said, somethings going wrong with my skin: despite daily body buttering (not pro age I've run out) and regular exfoliating I've got LOADS of ingrown hairs.

Ooh do I want this or not? 20% ends tonight and that kind of reduces the sting of the £4 delivery charge
