I wish there were more car boots here. I know there will be a tiny one on May Day, as there is a "fun fair" that comes to town, and a corner of the field (literally about 8 cars) set up...
I remember going to loads when I was a kid, as my Dad loves them, perhaps I'll ask him to take me further afield if I can find details of any.

    Morning,
Nikki, I like the cardi but I think it is quite pricey, I got a similar one to that from Tesco in grey for about £10. Those floppy jersey ones are everywhere right now so have a look around. Primark had some too.
Personally I don't think it's going to be something I'll wear much more than this year so even if I could afford a dearer version I wouldn't.
I'd go with grey though, I'm very pale but blonde atm and I think pastels suit me but when I had dark hair they did wash me out.
What sort of colours are the rest of your wardrobe (especially the things you wear most)?
  • Morning all,

Today I'm wearing a knee length black skirt, black boots, pink top and black cardi. Accessorising with necklace, bracelet and dangly earrings.

Daisy- Moisturiser wise I recommend a body butter rather than a moisturiser (I personally like body shop ones). I suffer from eczema on my body and when it flares up I use Hc45 cream (ask for it at chemist) for a few days which calms it down to continue with normal body creams/ butters.

Nikki- the cardi is nice but as vicki and others have said make sure its something that goes with other items in your wardrobe- I wear a lot of pink and pastels (I'm very pale skinned and blonde) but its what you would wear under a pinky cardi- I can only think of white or other pastel shades.

Lola hope you get some good bargains.

Well, back from the boot sale with nothing more than my muddy boots! There was nothing to take my fancy but at least I did something with my morning..not sure what to do with the rest of the day, the sunshine is glorious now so may go for a run in a little while and then wander into town this afternoon when the library opens..

Morning everyone. 200 pages already? That was quick!

Boot sale this morning was so not worth the 4 hours sleep I got. There was only 2 stalls selling clothes and they were all size 16+. I got two DVDs and two vintage silky scarfs for £1 each. Nothing exciting.
Had a bath and planning a nap so I feel a little more human.
Will update with outfit later, i'm back in my dressing gown!

Well I'm bathed and dressed. Wearing:

Nude 1/2 sleeve top with shoulder pads: Primark
Black and floral skirt: New Look but via medsdemon
    Black tights: Tesco
Grey "suede" stud detail flats: Ethel Austin
    D&G watch: gift

Will hopefully just need to add a cardi later, maybe a lighter jacket as it looks glorious out.

    Morning all :)

Currently in my dressing gown but I'm going round to my brother's flat in about half an hour to watch the footy so really need to get a move on and pick some clothes. Hmmm, what to wear?
