Haha could be that parents are sick of me hoicking my current ones up all the time due to them being ancient and massive! Ethel Austin has a huge closing down sale, so hoping they have some left (or indeed it's still open today)
Google egg subs PF, I'm sure you can use apple sauce amongst other things...0 -
Afternoon everyone. Just thought I'd nip in very quickly before I head to the airport. Sorry to hear there are so many with colds/bugs etc.. big get well hugs to you all.

Ooh on the PJ topic - Avon have some lovely ones in their catalogue. Pink and white with hearts and a pinky waterfall cardigan. £20 right enough but very pretty!!
So bored at work and someone has sat at the OH's desk so I can't go and steal some snack a jacks0 -
Oh what on earth does one wear to a ceilidgh?!
I've made a pineapple upside down cake, and a heap of flapjacks so think that will be ok. Now having a clothes dilemma. And frustrated because the rain has now stopped, after making me decide not to go to the jumble sale lol0 -

I think everyone thought like you today, Piratefairy! Jon and I nearly had the hall to ourselves :j.
Don't ceilidgh's involve country dancing? One of your pretty strapless dresses with a net petitcoat should make you the belle of the ball!0 -
I think so goan. I believe there is a band and a caller..
Off to raid the wardrobes0 -
I hope you're all tucked up inside now, after your jumble sale jaunts this morning! I'm just working up the energy to go bake... but all that whisking and mixing is so much EFFORT! Bah.
Oh, and for all you bloggers - I really recommend getting Google Analytics on your blog. It's SO interesting to see how people find you, how long they stay around and what posts they look at. Since adding it to mine I've learnt people have found my blog via Google searches for 'thrifted tights', 'ray ban sunglasses blogger' and 'primark denim shirt'. So fascinating! It's really easy to set up - go to google.com/analytics and sign up for an account. Then just google 'adding analytics to blogger' to find the code and paste it into your HTML. There are tutorials to show you how to do it, so it's all really straightforward. Since I installed it on Tues I've had 799 visitors!0 -
Hi GG! How fascinating. I'm definately going to try that. Thanks for the heads up.
I had a lovely email from a lady this week telling me that she found me by googling "1970's clothes" during her lunch hour a few months ago and I've been her constant lunch date ever since!
I'm still lounging around in my new jumble sale frock at the moment, I'm contemplating washing it and tackling the Guardian crossword in a minute.0 -
Hi all,
It's chucking it down here so I've been ironing, while watching Midsommer Murders, which was one I missed first time round so that was a bonus.
Probably to celebrate the first day of Spring, my hens have started laying again. :T
I say 'hens', but there's only one that lays. The others retired a few years ago.0 -

lol, my really old cochin still lays, she's been amazing. My very young legbar has laid only one egg this year...I've checked everywhere and she's not egg bound, she'd just a ruddy poor layer. We've been getting a steady trickle of eggs for a couple of weeks, hence crazy baking (partly to use up eggs.) not enough to put out at the gate, to many to use myself.
