It's raining here so we're playing it by ear but we might pop over to the next town along for a change of scenery and a browse/coffee...
or if the weather persists, we'll pop in to see my grandparents at the very least.
It is lovely not to be at work, but weekends are always a struggle time wise,
at least in the week I have a semi routine of pottering around
I have a stack of useful things I could do, or course work, but I feel I need a break from both; ignoring the fact I've done not enough of either this week
Perhaps putting some makeup on and getting dressed would be a good start
*potters off*0 -
Oh apparently I have to go and clean the fridge. What fun!0

Question. Do I wash the mustard off my feet now?:rotfl:0

*cant shake mental image of Vicki's mustard coated feet*

I've been to town today and Matalan had 70% off some of the jewellery and I got two bracelets and some earrrings. Also bought a white belt from there and it only came to £6.65 altogether which I thought was pretty good.
I looked for Alex's lovely blue tights in Dotty P's but came away with some purple diamond patterned ones for £1. I've just been trying them on and I love them but couldn't think of anything to wear them with except a black dress. Looking through my wardrobe I've found a LBD which is decidely too big for me now but inspired by you lovely ladies and Grammargirl in particular I've put a purple long sleeve top underneath and a red belt to pull it in and I think it looks pretty good.
Yay for layering! It sounds awesome!
I have seriously tired eyes today. Went to a friend's last night with a couple of other friends and watched Sport Relief. For some bizarre reason she only drinks full fat Coke so had about 4 glasses of that (was driving) then came home totally wired. Didn't sleep 'til about 2.30am! And I have a house full of boys, they're all playing XBOX in the living room and I want to watch Gossip Girl! Gggrrr.
Today is the last day of my style challenge so will be getting dressed in a mo and braving the rain for an outdoor photo. I'm also doing some baking today - vanilla cupcakes with birthday decorations for my sister who is 20 tomorrow. Wish I had a jumble sale to go to!0 -
Oh I forgot about my outfit post..
Topshop floral dress with cut out back
grey tights
green shrug
hair- mess!
Heading home now0 -
Wish I had a jumble to go to too! Just been to a white elephant sale in a church hall. Not much clothes wise.
I'm "working" for my dad's friend today. It's a vintage clothes shop which isn't as glamourous as it sounds. I'm so cold and the fan heater is blowing out cold air. Brrrr. I can't afford any of it but it is quite nice to look at.
Wearing:
New Look jeggings
Topshop white tee with roses round the neck
Long grey boyfriend cardi
Leather jacket
Silver and black scarf
Walking socks
Uggs
So coldddd. And I may be posting on here a fair bit today. It's pouring down so I don't think it'll be busy.0 -

I need to think about savouries too....might do some cheesy palmiers, and tomato an goats cheese tarts? The only ''problem'' I for see is friend is a foodie, where as new guy is a fussy eater of a vegetarian.
Vegetarian is fine, but fussy eater might be an issue for friend long term. (it would be a deal breaker for me.)
hmmm I should have stuck with the plan. I've made a couple of batches of macarrons which are sticking to the paper
I know they were well prep'ed too.:( oh well....i've got all day and a few rcipes I want to work through and try out so I'm not too fussed....only its annoying when something you do wi:(th your eyes closed usually decided to go wrong!
ETA: scarp that, DH got them all of perfectly. Not like me to try and rush things. lol. I'm going to sandwhich them together with a white chocolate cream. Not sure what to do next. we got all the fort crop of lettuce in this morning, some ceery and have got the next batch of lettuce, some radishes and stuff sown. Tonight we'll put everything new under some fleece.0 -
Afternoon, lovelies!
Just back from the jumble and Jon's cooking me breakfast (Linda McCartney sausages, fried egg, baked beans and mushrooms). Can't wait to have a rummage through all my bin bags and see what we've managed to grab.
Alex - My tights arrived this morning, they've fab, love them!! Thanks!!!
Today's outfit:
Denim leggings (Market)
Vintage Jeff Banks at W10 aubergine bell sleeved blouse (car boot)
Vintage tweed waistcoat (Chazza)
Long skinny scarf (Blog fan)
Silver coin earrings and silver bangles and rings (India)
Vintage angora cap (Chazza)
Lace-up knee high Edwardian bootsMe too, if a man didn't like curry for example it wouldn't be worth pursuing!
So utterly true! I can't abide a picky eater.
Get well wishes to those that need them. Oooh, being called to eat, catch y'all later.
