    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm baking today for a picnic with a vey dear fiend of both DH and I (she's like a shared best friend) and her new boyfriend. She has a new boyf we've barely met and we really, really want to like him and be able to have great times in a foursome soon, so I'm going to beguile him with cake. (the only other time I met him I was slightly tiddly, not sure I was on my best behaviour).

we wanted to do some spring cleaning outside, getting the barns tidies, toughs cleared out and attention paid to the poly tunnel this morning.....but the weather has put paid to that, so I'll get my baking done earlier I think.

No idea what I'll wear...at this rate in might be just an apron and oven glove.

Oh upside down cake, I haven't made one for ages, might see if the parents fancy it..the butterfly cake from yesterday has pretty much gone!

Not sure yet, I think gingerbread, chocolate cake and maybe some cherry queen cakes. Or some bread pudding? I'll see how inspiration hits when confronted with my pans. I need to think about savouries too....might do some cheesy palmiers, and tomato an goats cheese tarts? The only ''problem'' I for see is friend is a foodie, where as new guy is a fussy eater of a vegetarian. :( Vegetarian is fine, but fussy eater might be an issue for friend long term. (it would be a deal breaker for me.)

I find it so hard to cater for fussy eaters (er, my Mum for example) as it puts so many limits on things. Tomato and goats cheese tarts sound yummy and gingerbread!

I have no idea what I'm doing today, think Mum might take me somewhere but not really sure, weather not looking to good, urgh.

    Morning all :)

I just had a lovely dream that I found 8 pairs of IC shoes in a charity shop. I was most put out when I woke up and it wasn't real :(
