I think we should all wear our matching Primark dresses - Alex, you can be my twin xx
  • Morning everyone,

I have a note for being absent yesterday, ok not really. Had a bit of a blah day with clothes, think it's because I've not been making an effort last few days due to sorting out house etc that when I went to put something on yesterday my head just said nope, so I ended up in my jeans again. Funny though that since I've been wearing more tights/skirts, my skinny jeans feel really weird, almost like I'm out of love with them (and I've lived in skinny jeans for the last 2 or 3 years!) But anyway I'm going to make more of an effort today.

Alex - I didn't know you were still in liverpool I'm sure I read on your blog that you lived in Glasgow? maybe I'm confusing you with someone else. Maybe we'll see eachother at the jumble sales ;)

Jen - polka dots clash great with most things, red and leopard print are my fave for a touch of burlesque/rockabilly

RE: meet up...I wonder if we'd all get on just as well in real life?

RE: outft made of tights - didn't lady gaga recently wear a nude body stocking with glittery bits to cover her ladybits? a body stocking has got to be the closest thing to an outfit made out of tights?

will be posting the winner of my giveaway later today and getting back to posting my oufit.

    Have a good day y'all x
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Queen- I'm like that with skinny jeans, or anything tight fitting actually, funny how things we used to love, change!

I've been awake far too many hours already, so excuse if I make any less sense today :p
Not sure what I'm going to dooooo. Might be really lame and take myself up to Costa with a book and abuse their warmth; Dad's home all day with no car and the house is gonna be COLD.

    Happy St Paddys Day!

Have missed you all and the chat the last couple of days but my meeting was really good and really inspired me.

Oh and meet up sounds like a great idea. Chances are I wouldn't be able to come as I'm all the way up in Aberdeen. But if I could I would.

I'm ooooop North! And very absent from this thread, but I do keep up (just) with your chatter!

GrammarGirl, yes, you're one of the ones I was thinking of. Where have you been? Good to see you back, how's things?

Love the sound of the spotty shoes. Leave them be for now - with polka dots being all over the place at the moment it's a bit more of a subtle way of incoporating them. When you get fed up with them, you could probably dye them.

Lost, glad to hear you feel a bit brighter - lucky you getting some sun, it's been quite grey and grim up north. I too would be disappointed not to see the holey gold footless tights and blue shorts. You never know, it could start a trend....

I so did not want to get up this morning - roll on the weekend when I can have a lie in. I really need some breakfast as well, but canteen isn't open yet. Ooh, just remembered, I've got a couple of bananas in my drawer, I'll have one of those.

    Currently wearing:
    grey skinny jeans (M&S sale)
charcoal grey long asymetric tshirt (H&M)
    salmon Converse hi-tops
black velvet coat with spotty lining (Boden)
  • Morning everyoe - Bad day yesterday - REALLY bad day :(

Slumming it again today - Jeans, tank top, big cardi.

Lost weight so yey (but i think its down to stress so boo!)

    Hope you are all ok

Take care and i'll be hovering around

    Me x

Hi JJ! I've been crazy busy at work - one of the other copywriters on my team (and my lovely friend and confidant) has left for her maternity leave so it's just been mental, and it's not the same without her around either. I have a week off now, so have the time to catch up with everything!

I'll keep the shoes and wear them tomorrow to show you all how pretty they are... still a little unconvinced about the polka dots but I'll let you guys be the judge of that!

We're going for a day trip to York today - my favourite city!

    Morning all!

What a dull and miserable morning it is, today. Hope it cheers up for tomorrow's boot sale.

Grammargirl - I had a pair of polka dot shoes a couple of years ago (a jumble sale buy, obviously) and they got sold on. They seemed like a great idea at the time but just a bit too "Minnie Mouse" for my liking. Love York, have a great day.

I'm trying to motivate myself to do something constructive as I'm winding eBay down in time for my travels. I might start sewing something, revamping something or do some equally creative before my Pilates class kicks off in an hour and a half.

    Today's exercise-based outfit:
    Grey jumpsuit (Chazza shop)
    Cobalt blue ankle boots (TopShop)
Christain Dior money belt (Car Boot)
Silver bangles, rings and hoop earrings (India)

Have a smashing day, one and all!
    Goan
