Yes, I can. The friend who was ill, and I took care of her puppies? She's determined she pays for them for me.

I have seriously got to fnd some cowboy boots with a decent cuban heel or something for dh though...anyone good at boys' shoes? I'd like to be the same height as him, bu the carvelas have little platforms. :D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I'm no good with blokes shoes, but def get the carvelas then, you deserve them :D

I'm sensing a restless day ahead of me, haa. I wasn't going to go out till this afternoon but we had no bread left for parents lunch, and nothing that I can eat for lunch with my sore teeth so had to go this morning and now I have vast acres of time spread before me.

Might amuse myself with some window shopping/ebay browsing/blog reading :D
  • outfit for today...

Pink jersey polo neck George £1 via chairty shop
Shirt New Look 30p via jumble sale
Treggings New Look £7 in the sale
Office Boots £5 via charity shop
Topshop Denim Jacket Freebie from a club I used to work in years ago (god only knows how old it is)

Will post pics on blog in a min after I've had a shower and actually got dressed, am going to a friends at lunch time and then I've got a free afternoon so might find myself in the chairty shops. The salvation army do 50% of the marked price on a wednesday and I think it woud be rude not to pop along an have a little look
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I do love a man in cowboy boots but Jon refuses to wear them, spoilsport!
Have you checked out eBay for cowboy boots? What size is he, I'll keep my eye open at the boot sales and jumbles.

When you do get to a size 14 give me a shout. I've got lots of fabulous vintage dress patterns including some rather fabulous maxis you'd be most welcome to borrow.

Footless tights are fab in the summer with a shortish dress and peep-toe boots, or as a top if you're feeling brave!

oh and now i feel inspired to make a maxi dress!! at least then it owuldn't be too long for me..

retro (hugs) i hate days like that, but think you could definitely extend the bodice - it's a pain of a dress, sized really small compared to other be beau ones i've had..i got another in the sale the other day, rose prints in pink/grey/blue, which has yet to feature on the blog...

and yeah, queenie, i meant where to organise i guess lol..you're all welcome to hold a swap at mine lol..

Alex - I'm just about to buy some skinny jeans, what's wrong with them????

Nothing! I just can't quite work out what to wear with them. All my non-blog days tend to be days when I'm wearing skinny jeans cos I take the pics and feel dull so don't post them :o

Today's outfit might be another of them:

    Indigo skinnies - Primark
Mint green 3/4 sleeve tshirt - DP
Forest green sleeveless cardi - Primark
Eau de nil satin pumps (sadly a bit waterstained) - Accessorize sale

I might throw on a load of accessories when I get home and attempt to photograph it.

Seriously, I will happily pay someone to make me a maxi dress that fits me properly.
