I keep trying to catch up and post but every time I do something happens and distracts me grrrrr!

I'd love a meet, I'm at the top right hand corner of Wales so really anywhere on this side of the country should suit me as long as it is easily reachable by public transport. I reckon we should definitely have a Clothes Show meet as well =)

Has anyone got any tips for self-photography? I keep trying and failing miserably, I'm sick of wrestling with the tripod and I'm too self-conscious when someone is on the other side of the camera.

I've been very blah about my clothes recently and sticking mostly to what I suppose is my uniform of below knee skirt, black top, black tights and boots. That's ok I know but it does make for very boring outfit posts. Today I'm wearing my apple green and black Phase Eight skirt that I bought for my Nan's funeral (she loved bright colours) and worn loads since. I think of her every time I wear it which is probably a bit weird but it makes me happy.

Oh Wales, I'm nearish Wales lol.

I use a kitchen worktop as a base for the camera. Mainly because of that being the room with the best light but also the height of the worktop is perfect :rotfl:

    *hugs*
no need to feel blah lovely, I think we all go through less adventurous phases x

I have no tips -I just look at the floor and try and stand at an angle that makes me look less fat :o You don't have to photograph yourself if you're not happy with it though - I like Muriel's role in the photos on your blog :D

That skirt sounds fab by the way!

I love Bath and dont go nearly often enough (and want to meet you) so it's another real incentive to get my act together.

BTW, am currently munching on some jellybeans despite teeth pain :p

I love Bath too. Have been to stay with my friend a couple of times since she moved down there and have always had such fun. I think I just like to imagine I'm in a Georgette Heyer novel when I'm shopping there.

Hurrah for jellybeans but don't hurt your teeth though! Oh how I remember the joys of picking sweets out of my brace.

As long as there's a train there, and with enough notice to get cheap train tickets I'd be happy to travel pretty much anywhere.

Retro, I'm oop north as well. I'm sure there's a few more of us on here as well, but I can't remember who.

    Anyway ladies,
I have just taken some pain killers so I'm off to bed with a new library book to let them kick in.

Have a quiet day planned tomorrow, (no baking due to dad being home...I can't bake with him around, he eats all my mixture!) so expect lots of random drivel :p

    Night, Daisy!

I don't drive but willing to go anywhere to meet all you lovelies.
Lost - Bath is lovely, last time I went was for a friend's very ladylike hen weekend.

Retro - I know King's Heath well, especially the charity shops and boozers.

    Off to watch CSI.
Sleep well lovelies, catch you all tomorrow.
