Do you know what I think it is re: people looking? I've been very conscious lately of what people are wearing, not in a nasty way but just to see how they style themselves. I very rarely see anyone wearing colour, it's all jeans and black/dark hoody tops/jumpers/t-shirts. Although I'm not doing much on the colour front today :o.

People aren't used to seeing others wear bright colours anymore and I think it causes a bit of a stir when they do. I noticed it when I wore my orange cardi and shoes, the amount of people that looked down at my feet, the shoes definitely caught their eye ! They couldn't see the cardi as it was hidden under my coat :rotfl:.

PF, some people don't need much sleep - does it affect you when you don't get much or can you operate as usual? Sorry, being nosy aren't I, tell me to bog off if you don't want to answer :o. Just interested as I'd love to be able to sleep less ! If I don't get 8 hrs a night I'm a complete mess !

Goan, another Jarvis fan here. I met him years ago, in the 80s. He was a friend of my friend's brother, and he was lovely. I've had a crush ever since!
I'm soooo unbelievably envious. Mind you I'd probably be lost for words if I ever met him.

My outfit isn't worth commenting on at the moment as we're attempting to tackle the room that no-one dare enter. We moved into our house four and a half years ago and there's still boxes of stuff from our old house we've never unpacked..
I'm hoping to uncover some long lost vintage treasure I'd long forgotten but at the mo it's just boxes and boxes of vinyl records and vintage paperbacks.

It's a beautiful day today. I've got washing on the line and the cats are basking in the spring sunshine.
  • Send some sun this way please its horrible here! lol

Sorry I didn't get back on last night, I did the same as Jtb, cuddles with dd and then an early night. Was feeling a bit bleurgh and my tummy was all bloated. I was really hot in the night too, so wondered if it was a bit of a bug or something. Fine today though!

Retro - really sorry to hear about your Great Uncle. I do love the paisley dress :D.

Nikki - Clinique is not good for my skin either.

    Killielila - hello!!

Lost - so sorry to hear about your doggy, any news today??? I've had orthotics in the past as I have no arches, and found them really good. I've stopped wearing them though as they don't fit in the shoes I like.....vanity again.

PF - the more you think & worry about your sleeplessness the less likely you are to get to sleep. Must be horrible (())'s

Daisy - good luck at the docs sweetie xx

Magpye - good luck with the interview xx

At work today and I'm wearing:
    bright red fitted jumper dress
    black opaques
    black heels
    black beads

The dress is so bright that I don't think I can get away with any other colours!!!

Will post some pics of my shopping haul from Sat later :D.

Morning ladies! Envious of those who can wear bright colours - I tend to live in black, green or blue! Have bene in a tracksuit for 2 days so as the sun is shining I decided to put something a bit lighter and more summery on... at the exact point the sun goes in :rotfl: Oh well, never mind!

    Today's outfit is:

Khaki and white 2-in-1 top (£8, F&F at Tesco)
Black linen trousers (£7, Evans sale last year)
Pink and white striped socks with Scotty dog print (£1, Evans sale)
    and my trusty white Nikes.

No jewellery as usual for work but today's perfume is Laugh With Me LeeLee from BeneFit's Crescent Row Collection.

Hope everyone's having a good day! xx

Piratefairy, you wear that cream skirt with the bronze boots so well, I love that on you, really very different look for you, and a difficult length of skirt but you pull it off perfectly. That is a super outfit for you IMO.

Goan, I love the goat clutch. Because we'd spent so much I resisted some lovely bags this weekend. I'm a bit ...frustrated. Bags I loved when I bought them I now thing are ghastly...or I get drawn to ones I like better than similar ones at home. No more cream bags...I'm stuch with the one I have. also what is it with brass (coloured)furniture on bags being so rare over steel/sliver coloured. I'm sure I'm not the only person left who wears more gold than silver or platinum...or is that matching gone too far?

retro bluebell, that floral dress is great on you? A shape/style to look for again I think. :)

daisybella, I like todays outfit a lot. Looks good, suits you. :)
