  • it's worth it to save your hair though Alex :) you're very motivated going swimming at this time of the evening, after I've cooked dinner I'm pretty much done for the day
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

I meant to go before work this morning but I couldn't face getting up at 7am :o I quite like the evening lane swim slot, it's much less crowded.

So my fashion choice (bearing in mind the swimming costume is black with green accents) is between a horrible black swimming cap or a horrible sky blue one. Suppose I'd best stick with the plain black.
  • Black sounds best then...but I'm sure no one is really looking ;)

I miss swimming, I'm just soooo lazy when it comes to any form of exercise at the moment, but it's one of those things that I tend to be all or nothing. I either want to do it every day and do too much or I do nothing at all...at the moment I'm doing nothing at all

Hi everyone... just coming on here to let my head escape being the parent of a teenager with boy troubles who is at this moment heading to sleep at her friends because she needs her more than us. How hard is that to deal with... having to let her go crying her eyes out but us being no comfort for her... or really knowing what's wrong:(

All your talk of swimming ... and bathing caps is cheering me up.

Oh no! That must be tough. I have older sons (18 & 20) and got off lightly with the first but the second has been much more challenging. I think it's payback for giving my parents such a hard time...... I find my 3yr old much easier than an 18 yr old .

I've slobbed out on the sofa tonight and I'm just about to sew up a small tear in a tunic so I can wear it tomorrow.

((()))'s to everyone in need of them.....seems to be a few of us that do.

Daisy - I love the first necklace!!
  • it's been very quiet in here today...guess everyone is busy doing life stuff :)

I've been proactive in sorting out my outfit for tomorrow already, I'm going to wear:

Pink jersey poloneck - £1 chairty shop
Grey merino wool cardi - £3.99 chairty shop
Grey Leopard pring skirt - £4 peacocks sale (was below the knee but shortened to knee length by me with mums supervision)
    Pink tights - 75p internationale
Faith calf length boots - £1 carboot
Pearl earrings - present from boyf
String of pearls - £1 charity shop

Don't know whether to wear Jones The Bootmaker patent mary janes which I got from charity shop instead of boots but I want to wear the faith boots. Also don't know whether to wear a prety vintage pink jumper 30p from jumble sale instead of cardi but might be too much pink.

    Decisions decisions

might take a pic of the different outfits and put on blog tomorrow for feedback :D
