Aww girls :A ... thank you all for saying such nice things, making me tear up a bit... you are all perfectly lovely. I am just having a bad body image day, I do try to accept myself as I am most of the time but sometimes you just can't see any good. I used to specialize in self-destructive behaviour, so I'm probably hyper aware of it.
Lost, something nice about myself? I have really shiny and silky hair.
((hugs)) to anyone in need today.
I have been along the street, think the exercise has done me good, feeling a bit more positive now. Swapped my ripped dress from Saturday's shopping trip for two new skirts, one of which had a stuck zip but I managed to sort that. Also swapped the too-small bangle my friend got me for a totally impractical fascinator-type thing.
Bought some chilli burgers reduced in the co-op and some watercress to add to the salad tonight; I've got watercress cravings. So abnormal. Might update the blog too with bits and pieces."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
Oh god, no I want watercress....
to add to the marmite craving. sigh
we have marmite, but DH has left the top done up too tightly and I can't open it. I feel like such a girl.
DH always does things up super tight, I don't know what he thinks is going to happen to the contents. 0 -
Haha lost I always used to have to open jars for my mum at home, she's a weed lol..
So tired but cannot sleep one bit, perhaps due to the noisy geese on the river outside coupled with my inability to sleep with the window closed

I would cry if anything got in the way of me and my marmite :eek:0 -
Feel like crying here ;( I'm at home, being stubborn despite having arranged to go the pub quiz, based on the fact I'm annoyed at my friend for treating
me badly today
I forget boys take everything literally and are no good at games, so am now annoyed that I'm guna end up staying in with nothing to do As i can't sleep grr! 0 -

OK, well I wouldn't ry to sleep when in a stew!
Can you get up and make yourself a decadent hot drink in your favourite mug? Have a lovely warm bath, shower, spoil yourself with some moisturiser, put some calm but happy music on, a calming scented candle and just relax....0 -
aw pf *hugs* what about doing some pampering? a nice bath, candles, fave cd, face mask, always helps to cheer me up xx
Magpye - glad you are feeling better. Body image issues are so hard, I have good days and bad days, the bad days often seem so dark. I had a few days the other week when I felt really down about myself and everyone could see how beautiful I am except myself. Acceptance is the key and feelings pass, keep being nice to yourself hun xx*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150
